Q: It looks like First Service results were strong. Could I have your opinion. Thanks.
Q: Hello, I sold Enercare at $13.45 for a 30 % profit. I am wondering if I should by this stock back if it dips or if it would be better to purchase First Service at its current price.
Thank you Alan

Q: Hi 5i team,
I currently own Black Diamond Group and I am looking to switch into First Service Corp. For a 2-3 year time frame, without considering sector diversification, would you see more upside potential with First Service or Black Diamond Group? Both are in very different industries and are both in your model portfolio, with similar ratings, B and B+ respectively. First Service seems to have stock momentum at the moment whereas Black Diamond has been on a downtrend.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hi Peter & Team,
First Service Corp reported very good result, I got small postion of it, what do you think of it's future growth. I am thinking to add some position, should I do it now or wait until it pulls back a bit.
Thank you,
Pui

Q: Hi Peter and team, this question is regarding the article you wrote on concentration. I have a high concentration of XTC (bought at 3.30) and FSV (bought at 33.60), respectively about 15 and 20 percent of the portfolio. I am quite happy with the results, and am of two minds on whether to continue holding or take profits.
I don't feel that either company has a dominant market position even though they are both growing nicely. Is it reasonable to hold XTC looking for a 5 bagger and FSV looking for a 2-3 bagger? I have already taken some profits on both, but am wishing I had let my winners run further. I have probably a 25 year time horizon minimum before I draw down on my portfolio. You have mentioned some other high growth names that are appealing, and I am considering allocating profits to those names. Any thoughts?

Q: I notice that last year, FSV's (First Service Corp) Q1 was the weakest quarter of the year. It looks to be the same for 2014, with a current projection for Q1 2014 of 13 cents a share but increasing substantially thereafter. What is the reason for this and what are your expectations for the Q1 earnings that will be reported later this month?
Q: Peter, I have a niece that I'm gifting 30K to. She's like to put this money into a TFSA as she currently doesn't have a TFSA account. I was going to advise her to pick 6 equities from your model portfolio in different sectors. Would you agree with this strategy and if not what would your recommendations be?
Q: Hi,
I have been on the investment sidelines for the last few years. Looking for a recommendation of 3-4 companies from your model portfolio list of companies that you perceive as well positioned for growth in 2014. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter
Re Fsv.
I am looking to replace my DI.UN.... It has done so so this year . It is showing some life . I was thinking about replacing it with FSV...would you consider this a good move? It is in my TFSA .. I would like a more aggressive mover

Q: I have been considering taking a position in First Service Corp. (FSV)and one of the things that I like to look at is insider buys and sells. Over the last 6 or so weeks there has been substantial insider selling. I realize that insiders sell for a variety of reasons, some of which may be for their own reasons rather than Corporate developments, but the selling recently has been quite significant, which makes me hesitant about adding this company to my portfolio. It would appear that insiders are not confident about further share appreciation from current levels. Your comments would be appreciated.
Q: Do you have any idea why FSV is on the decline today?
Q: Hi Guys
FSV I have about a 36 percent gain. Should I take a profit now
or just hang on?
Thanks from Bob

Q: Hello Peter and the 5i team:
I have a question about First Service Corporation (FSV). When it didn't pay a dividend, 5i gave it a B- rating. Now that it pays a dividend (albeit a small one giving a yield of about 1%), would you increase its rating? Thanks in advance.

Q: I am considering FSV and/or BRP for diversification and exposure to US real estate. I would appreciate your insight and any recommendation you could provide.
Q: I have a question about FirstService Corporation
The quarterly results for fsv are out today. The market seems disappointed. How does 5i feels about the quarterly report?
Thanks

Q: FirstService-FSV-seems to represent the real estate sector in the Model Portfolio as there are no REITs or REOCs included. I own the slightly larger MRC, Morguard Corp, as a comparable long term hold already but I wonder what you would view as a potential catalyst to propel FSV and do you think it is an undiscovered Morguard? Thanks.
