Q: Morning 5i team: Which would you buy today and why?Or neither or another? Tks. Larry

Q: Thank you for helping us navigate through the volatility with a cool head. I have 2 questions.

In a long term horizon 3 years and more for the above list could you separate them into 3 buckets and identify 1 group for which you would add funds, 1 group to keep and 1 group to sell? All stocks mentioned are now reduced to 1% or less in a non-taxable portfolio.

My 2nd question:

For the following securities in a corporate account with a 2-year horizon. Do the same exercise and separate into 3 buckets which ones you would add funds to, which ones are keepers and which ones you sell.

Q: As noted in my previous question on the drop in Lnr re:the headwinds it faces and at my book at 70$.Would you consider that going forward in 22 that at a price of say 43$ that ENGH has more upside potential? Make any sense to swap or hold? Tks.Larry

Q: Hello Peter and Team

I have above stocks in my TFSA account. I am down CAE 10%, NVEI 47%, ENGH 17%, KXS 24%, LSPD 12%, QIPT 18%.

Normally I will consider all of them as good growth stocks but with the rotation now hapening in the market, I am wondering if I should keep them for the next 12 months or I should switch to more value stocks.

Morningstar has ENGH @ Forward P/E at 26x and P/S at 5.3 x
Would you think taking my position up from 1.5% to 3.0% a good idea? or would your choice be another stock instead, I invest in companies, not trade stock prices.

Q: I am a little overweight techs in a well diversified portfolio. Considering valuation contraction where do you see a new normal forward P.E. the S&P in 2022 and for those stocks highlighted?
Please provide forward P.E. and multiples for those that make profits and guestimate where the low end could be for the others.

Q: I want to initiate positions in my unregistered investment account, but if I buy all 8 above stocks, each position would be extremely small. (But that is still an option.) Considering thoughts on inflation and interest rates, could you put these in order of priority for purchase now. These positions would primarily be for safety, with a bit of income, which is non-essential, and some growth, which is also not essential. Just looking for your confidence level of these as companies for the longish term.

Q: These names have A to A- ratings in your reports over the past 1 year.
Looking for good upside for small position in TFSA with lowish risk of downside for 3 to 5 year hold. Which of these would be your first and second top picks?

Q: Hello, I have purchased ENGH at a higher price and currently down 25% in a non registered account. I understand that you like the management team. Should I hold, sell for tax loss and rebuy in 30 days, or buy some more as it is on sale?

Why is ENGH hated so much ? It's in a downtrend for more than 18 months now and I thought that they would find a near term bottom here with the last quarterly earnings report.

Let's recap, investors hate high growth high valuation stocks. Investors also dislike slow growth and decent PE. Where do you see fit ENGH ? I thought we would see the end of the death spiral with this earnings report. Nope, so I guess we are now just a few believers like me and the founder of course holding the bag.

Q: I had been wanting to buy Enghouse Systems for a few months but since it’s highs of 77$ it has been steadily coming down. Now sitting at 48$ and reporting good earnings for Q4 do you think it would be a good buying opportunity or should I wait until 2022? If so what would be a good entry price.

Q: Hello Peter,
If one of your members wants to donate credits, I am happy to take some of them. There have been many questions on Nuvei, and do apologize for another one. However, my biggest concern is not the short sellers. Regulations take time and there will always be companies looking to profit from potentially fake news or reports. I am more concerned about the firms that are happy to raise money from companies like Nuvei, sell stock to their clients (as we see many analysts from firms having much higher targets for the company prior to short seller), but when a negative report comes out, very few come out and defend the company, especially when the company comes out with a release that their guidance is intact. In some ways, it makes one think whether it is really worth putting monies in high growth companies as when something goes wrong, the retail investor is left holding the bag with less monies than invested. I have two portfolios, one conservative with BAM, banks, costco, etc and other with high growth. The conservative portfolio over a ten year period has done much much better. Please comment on the investment industry on their lack of response (well some did but not to a great extent). Also, can you comment why Enghouse is lower and lower after the company announced a potential sale. I was expecting it would surge slightly. Many thanks for the service over the years and the various questions from the investors.

Q: Morning 5i Team,

I currently hold a full position in OTEX and am thinking of switching to either GIB or ENGH.

I would like to get your thoughts on this and which one of GIB and ENGH would be your choice if I indeed decided to switch. Or are there others options (regardless of sectors) that would be your choice.
