Q: My IT sector weighing is 8% of total portfolio and consists of three equality weighted equities, SYZ, OTC, and ENGH. Long term holdings and have been happy with overall performance, but I wonder if they are diversified enough across their business segments. I would like to keep OTC, but what other two IT sector equities would you recommend to complete the trio?

Regards,

Robert

Q: I currently hold full positions in GIB, Engh and KXS and a 1/2 position in SYZ and am looking to add another 1/2 position. I can't decide between topping up SYZ, adding a new 1/2 position in CSU or selling SYZ and go with a full position in CSU. Part of me would like to stay more concentrated (I am very comfortable with the 3 full holdings) but I guess at the end of the day, I am wondering if the hoped for outperformance of SYZ outweighs the very solid expected growth of CSU. While I like the added benefit the SYZ dividend provides, I do not currently need the income.

I am interested in your opinion as to my options. Appreciate the insight.

Q: Hello 5i team,
I wanted to add a technology sector company and was wondering of the current stocks in the BE portfolio, which one has the most room to grow? They are all doing very well.
Thanks,
Andrew

Q: These stocks are all down 2 to 7 percent in the last month. Given the experience of DH should I be concerned with any of these and sell?

Q: Hello Peter and 5i team,
I want to add a technology name to my TFSA.
Sylogist looks interesting as it has a nice dividend and the technicals look good. I am concerned it is too small and it is vulnerable to interest rate risks.
Absolute software also has a nice dividend and has no debt. Is it ready to grow?
Do you still think Constellation is doing almost everything right?
I sold Enghouse for a nice profit at higher prices. Is it time to get back into this name?
Open text has a small dividend
Which of these companies are your favourite for stability and growth .
thank you as always for your great service.

Q: Enghouse and Allergan have been weak and range bound for some time. Is there a strategy for stocks like this? Does one lower a portfolio weighting once a stock looses momentum? My hesitation has always been that at any time these stocks can report an acquisition and open higher in the double digits. As well, I feel like a hypocrite buying for the long term only to move on when things slow only to look back years later wishing I held. Allergan is a 4% weighting, Enghouse is a 2.5% weighting. Would you consider these core holdings?

Q: Hi team, I am looking to start a position in SYZ, I have pretty well every position in the growth portfolio. I'm thinking 3% full position in one purchase . Is it a good idea?
I am thinking about the same with ESL, and have noticed the share price is lower now than a year ago. Is a full position same as above be acceptable?
Thank you as always for the service.
