Q: I came across this when I was doing research on small cap funds and found this in the portfolio of Mawer New Canada funds. Seems to be a very good on most financial parameters. Seems to have high institutional holdings and has strong growth.
Your views on the future growth outlook. Being a $1 billion company in IT sector with umpteen number of players, do you think it has reached a saturation in Canadian market and may see moderation in growth rates compared to the past?
Would you recommend this stock or do you have better picks in the IT sector?

Q: Hello,
I already have a full position(5%) on CSU but I used to hold Engh and Amaya earlier. The latter two have done well after being removed from the portfolio. I dont hold any of Engh or TSGI. I am torn between adding to my position on CSU due to the high confidence or to Amaya or ENGH? Sorry for this difficult question. Thanks. Regards, Shyam

Q: Hello 5i
In yesterday’s Q&A you replied to a question from Glen that one of your important considerations when assessing a company was “strong management”. I couldn’t agree with you more. Would you consider adding a management rating to the “report card” section of your company reports?
And on that note would you supply 6 companies that have admirable management and board teams.
Many thanks

Q: A recent article in the Globe was citing an RBC analyst as saying it was time to go underweight on tech stocks.
I have the following weightings in my portfolio -
ENGH - 6% ; SYZ, KXS and DSG 4% each.
Do you see any of these as being seriously overvalued? I have very good gains on all and have taken profits on all except KXS as they have moved up.
Any comments are appreciated.

Q: If you were me: fully weighted in technology, and had been watching SHOP for quite some time hoping for a pull back entry point, and having owned ENGH for several years, would you sell ENGH to buy SHOP, given that the pull back is "harsh" because of the short report, and that the valuation of ENGH is quite high (40X?). Or sell half and buy half? I am trying to get a sense of the opportunity to buy SHOP ... and not sure how short attacks work, in the short and long term. I know you have said that "shorts" don't give up easily or quickly.

Q: I own ENGH in a taxable account with a 200% gain. I also own CSU, DSG, SHOP and ZQQ all 5 stocks with a 4% weighting. I have a long time frame and wondering if you would suggest selling ENGH and replace with what IT stock? To offset some of the 200% gain, I could sell ENB and AQN which are both below my cost base and repurchase them in 30 days.

Q: I have some money to add to 2 of the listed companies. Please rank them according to safer growth prospects (with your rationale).
Much appreciated as usual. RAM

Q: Enghouse's recent announcement of the new "President", has him starting immediately, without any explanation as to a departing "President". Is it correct to assume there was no prior President of the Company, and in the past the CEO and President role were both held by Stephen Sadler, or is this a vacancy that is getting filled? Why would there not be a better explanation in the press release, this could be construed as a negative?

Q: They announced the hiring of a new president recently. The article mentioned that the new hire had a background in growing the cloud business at his previous company. Was this hiring part of an orderly transition at the company and does his background suggest a new direction for the company or just a good fit for what has always been going on there? Can we expect a little "spark" to this company now?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Charts show Enghouse's trend line becoming parabolic . As happy ( finally ) as I am about this , is it best to exit here ( small position ) , or do you see ENGH continuing upward ?
If you recommend selling , do you recommend my adding these funds to KXS, CSU, SHOP, DSG , other ( which ? ) ... or is the whole sector becoming vulnerable ? Thanks for your help.
