Q: I am looking to add to my tech holdings ie CSU, DSG, ENGH, OTEX, SHOP, LSPD, STC, which would you add to first (KXS is already at a full position)?

Q: I am trying to understand these 2 stocks in your portfolios.
We have DOO which is growing at 20-25% , future earnings expected around $4.40/year with a forward PE of 15.
On the other hand, we have DSG growing the same but with a forward PE of 80 and future earnings expected around $.80/year.

Why is DOO not valued like DSG and/or vice versa?
Why does DSG have a ridiculous multiple of DOO?
Every Q DSG does .11 and the stock price is $60!!

Remember, they are both growing at 20-25% / year.
Does DSG merit such valuation just because they are in tech?
Really doesn't make sense to me.

Q: I own CSU, DSG, ENGH, OTEX, SHOP, LSPD, KXS and STS and was thinking of adding GIB.A once the stock settles down a bit. I'm looking to increase my tech sector . Would you add to the existing holdings or would you recommend adding GIB.A to take advantage of the recent pullback?

Q: I am assuming that a company with lots of cash can withstand a major pullback better that a company carrying a lot of debt. could you give me 5 or 6 companies any sector with lots of cash that could withstand a market correction with less impact to their share value?.

Q: low debt- 4 -9 percent dividend that do the right thing for their share holders quality payout ratio ,growing dividend with moat qualities ,hve people in leadership that show qualities like Johnathon goodman, fromgud also Brookfield is opportunistic and buys real estate at good prices please give me your companies5-10 companies that come to mind for long holds.

Q: A while back I asked about selling ENGH and replacing it with DSG, because I like to follow your lead in the portfolios. You recommended I keep ENG as they are similar, and I'm glad you made that recommendation because the company had a very good quarter/year. In another answer to a member you indicated that ENG may level off now because most of the share response was due to the low expectations by analysts and the surprise. Now I'm wondering if I should sell half of my ENG and buy DSG with the proceeds, giving me two reasonable positions. Diversification. I know this is somewhat like splitting hairs, but you must have a good sense of DSG future growth, or you would not have it in the portfolio. Again, thank you for recommending I not sell ENG last time, even though their good results could not have been predicted. And if you still recommend I keep the one position I'd be happy to do so. Q: Hi,

I'm looking to start investing a lump sum over the next 12 months or so. What list of Canadian stocks would you recommend at current levels? Do you have 5-7 names that you find particularly attractive right now. Looking for a mix of growth and income with not too much risk.

Q: Hello Peter & team,

Have been away for a short while and am now happy to once again be a part of the 5i Family. My Question..

I have approx $20,000 to invest. It is a credit to your team how well the 5i Balanced Equity Portfolio has performed. I will not be ashamed to invest my funds via following your lead. In looking at the portfolio and with "Growth" in mind, are you able to advise which of the companies within the portfolio you would start new positions?
