Q: Had some Tahoe shares awhile back which turned into PAAS. I sold PAAS after the THO acquisition. Some shares of PAASF have now showed up my account at a price of 0.60 per share. What is PAASF and how did I end up acquiring it? Whats 5i view on this penny stock? Would you advise to just sell it? Thanks.

Q: Shareholders of
Tahoe will be entitled to elect to receive common shares of Pan American
and/or cash in exchange for their shares of Tahoe. Additional
consideration will be in the form of the right to a contingent payment
in common shares of Pan American tied to the restart of the Escobal mine
in Guatemala.

Q: Please let me know your opinion about these companies. What would be your first picks if any. I am looking for 5 years down the road, no rush to sell. I don't understand the value of gold, but given Trump's policies, bad things could happen....
Thank you

Q: Greetings 5i,

Tahoe Resources, which I hold in 3/4 position costs @ $6.90. Im down about 15% after a small run recently and todays pullback on negative news. I have been in this expecting a positive announcement regarding re-opening Escobal and today it was announced that there will be layoffs. The company has also today, after market close and in contrast to the news earlier, announced record gold production. Perhaps some gamesmanship by the company on both announcements/developments which I guess I can appreciate given the strange situation with Escobal.

Anyhow, what is the current 5i take regarding
1. the company in general and its future prospects
2. the Escobal situation and likelihood of re-opening
3. how to play the position (add/sell/hold)

I am quite comfortable holding providing most of the bad news is baked in already. My timeline is 2-3 years.

Cheers!

Q: Could you comment on the suspension of the license at the Guatemala mine? I listened to part of the conference call. The basis for the suspension seems weak, but you never know what the real politics are. There was not too much more info than in the press release, but to summarize:
- balance sheet is strong at approx. $165 Mm
- $150 MM line of credit is being re-worked to provide flexibility in the short term
- other to projects in development (Bell Creek, Shahuindo) will continue without interruption
- current month's dividend will be paid; dividends are a board decision, so management could not comment on future months
I have a 1% position at $10.80. Would you buy a bit more if the share price plummets on open?

Q: Tahoe resources released 2016 results and issued guidance to 2019 on 9 March. The results didn't seem to warrant the sell off and the guidance also seemed OK. I noticed AISC will go up next year because of increased gold production but again it didn't seem all that bad. Do you know if the market expected better results or was the guidance out of line with consensus? I would like to increase my precious metals exposure in this company and am trying to suss out the reason for the sell off? Do you have any opinion on management? Thanks

Kenn
