Q: When looking at BIP.UN an infrastructure stock, can you compare this stock to other infrastructure stocks like a stantec or wsp global. My feeling is that stocks like stantec are more directly involved in the infrastructure industry and will be more directly affected by the Canadian and USA infrastructure spending that are planned in the near future. Your feeling would be appreciated. Tnx.

Q: I am break even in my holding of STN in my RRSP account. It had a large gain today and reports tomorrow. I am considering selling that position and trading into a stock in the same sector, such as NFI, WSP or MDA, all of which have had recent pullbacks. What would be your recommendation for my RRSP?
Thanks, Peter

Q: I have 1/2 of position in STN, and and 1/4 position in WSP. I am down about 2-3% on STN. I am fine with both, but was wondering if I should consolidate to WSP. Two reasons, reduce stocks I own get more concentrated portfolio, and get more significant position in one Engineering company.
Q: I have small positions in bam.a and bip.un. I would like to add wsp or stn. Which would you prefer for a 2 to 3 Year hold and why? Thanx.
Q: I'd appreciate your opinion/suggestions on a few companies that a GARP (Growth At Reasonable Price) style investor should find particularly attractive currently - ignoring sector diversification.
Thank you
Thank you

Q: Do all above companies fall under Industrial? My total weight is 13% Is this too high? I feel that I have too many companies in this sector and may be better to have only 4-5? STN and WSP are similar so would it be better to sell one of these and add to the names that are listed. I am also thinking of selling ET and taking the proceeds to add to the other names now leaving me with 5. Is this a good approach?
Thanks

Q: I see that the public sector is entering a growth phase, what would be your top 5 public sector dept picks for an aggressive growth portfolio?
I'm thinking that Health would be a 'no brainer' replacement for condordia, oh but wait...the grey tsunami...so would that be a long or short position.
Cheers and happy Friday

Q: Good Morning 5I team, I have been building a cash position and would like your opinion on these stocks/etf to add to a mostly buy and hold dividend generating portfolio.
Q: Hello,
I am interested in the "water" theme. There are a couple of stocks in reading your reports that appear to me to be sound investments re. this theme and both are well rated. Would you consider good choices from the stocks you follow for this theme? If so, are they buys at this time or would you wait for a pullback? If there are better names I should consider, I would appreciate you letting me know.
Thanks,
Dan

Q: STN down 5%, WSP up 5% - were their respective quarterly reports that bad and that good? Is it an opportunity to buy STN and sell WSP, or perhaps the reverse? What is your favorite between these companies now that their prices have had big changes today?
Q: Good morning,
Great appearance on Market Call yesterday!
Stantec's earnings. Any red flags I can't see in the press release? Today might be a good day to start a half position for a long term holding ... Your comments please ...

Q: I have a 5% position in WSP and 2% in BOS and Im looking to add some industrial exposure. Would you add STN (has pulled back after today's quarterly results) or something else? Thanks, Neil
Q: What is your preference for about a 5% weighting Stantec or WSP Global?I have no other stocks in this sector of the market.Could you include info on dividend growth ,stability & growth from sectors outside Canada. I'm not adverse to some risk but don't want to "catch a falling knife" either. Thanks, as always, for your sage advice.
Q: I am looking for a stock that will benefit from the pending infrastructure spending. I have a several year horizon. Would you recommend one of these, or something else. Many thanks.
Q: Good morning Peter and Team,
I have some personal (negative) experience with an engineering consulting firm owned by WSP. What would be your best choice(s) as an alternative to WSP in the engineering/infrastructure space?
Thanks as always for your valued advice.
