Q: There has been a significant drop in the share price (~20%) over the last month which I can't understand from the quarterly results. Occupancy remains very high and all metrics appear good to my untrained high except for net income and comprehensive income over the last 3 months, but good over 9 months. Can you shed some light for me please?

Reits, Telecoms and Utilities have not been participating in the market rallies for a while now. Just wondering when you think that the yields on these types of stocks will start to hold up the stock prices. (a few of mine are starting to get come nice yields on them now.

Q: I have been watching SOT.UN and yesterday it dropped after making an acquisition. I have a balanced REIT portion to my portfolio for income, and I am wondering about adding Slate on this drop as it has an 8.8% payout. My other holdings are Artis REIT, Pure Industrial REIT and Smart REIT. Is Slate of a comparable quality to my existing REIT's and would it be a good addition for income?
Q: Hi Peter. Would there be much point in selling Smart Reit and buying Sienna Sr. Living to reduce my Reit holdings (18%) and increase my Health Care (0%)? I'm thinking they will act the same if interest rates ever rise.

Q: Could I please have your comments on SmartREIT results. They appear very good to me. This REIT has been performing very well for many years but you don't seem keen to recommend it. Is there a particular reason?
Q: I owned Calloway reit and just noticed that it has changed and the name is now Smart Reit. Can you tell me if this REIT is still worth holding and how did the shareholders fare in the exchange.
