Q: I want to add a renewables. I am stuff between aqn and bep. Both seem to be growing quite nicely. BEP has had more consistent returns. AQN had some serious trouble in 08 and I think it was down to around $2. If I am going to drip, does AQNs 5% discount play a factor here into your decision? I notice Scotia having AQN distribution rising slightly more rapidly than BEP into 2020, do you agree with this? What are key geographical / operational differences that would play an impact into long term growth?

Q: Can you compare the two for me? What is growth expectation for each and valuation on a comparative basis. The yields are very attractive while BEP has committed to increasing their yield through 2022. Also, can you note why BEP.UN is rated an "A" and would it still be rated an A as it hasn't had a report in a while? Thanks.

Q: I am looking for quality dividend-growth Canadian stock, yielding at least 5%, mid cap or larger, for medium to long hold, in the following sectors: banks, pipelines, renewable energy.

I am considering adding to BNS, Brookfield Renewable (BEP.UN) and Enbridge (ENB).

I could add to Interpipe (IPL) or Innergex (INE) but am thinking that Enbridge and Brookfield Renewable are better choices at the moment.

Your opinion? Other names to consider?

Q: Following up on a recent question regarding allocating the appropriate amount of monies to each stock, the amount depending on the size, safety, etc of that security. Would you agree with the current split (full, partial, small):

Full = AD (should be partial), AQN, BCE, BNS, FTS, RY, TRP.
Partial = CGX (could be full?), CSH, NFI, PGH (could be full?), TCL, WSP (could be full?).
Small = WCP.

Thanks...Steve

Q: For ALA, AQN, DIV, DR, ENB, PRV.UN, what is the payout ratio for each of these companies? Is payout ratio a valuable measure of dividend sustainability? Can payout ratio about 100% be maintained? thanks

In energy and power utility sector which companies do you recommend at current valuation. Is XOM a good buy or it is better to invest in ENB or PXT in current market and future growth perspective.

Q: Good morning 5i Team.

I'm primarily an income investor and I'm building positions in these three names. My target is BEP.UN (5%) AQN (3%) and RNW (2%) for a total of 10%. Do you think 10% is too high for the group? Is it necessary to diversify into all three? If not, which would you pass on?

Thanks
Peter
