Q: Hello 5i. Is there a difference between what US producers are receiving and what Canadian producers are receiving for natural gas. I watch BNN and I think on the top right hand side they state a natural gas price but I think this is for US producers not Canadian producers. Which if true, is misleading I think. Where would you recommend that I look for the daily price of natural gas for Canadian gas producers. .

- Suncor Energy Inc. (SU)
- Enbridge Inc. (ENB)
- Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ)
- Tourmaline Oil Corp. (TOU)
Q: Hello, we have a full position in CNQ (5%) and SU & TOU (3% combined). We also own ENB (6%). We are considering to reduce our weighting in Energy sector. We like CNQ and ENB, for their respective merits, at the two ends of the spectrum being Growth and Income and relatively stable history of stock performance. If you have to choose to sell/trim between SU and TOU, what would be your approach - Equally trim from Both or Sell one of them in full ? Based on current and likely scenario of Oil and Natural Gas prices and their balance sheet and growth/income prospects.
Thank You

Q: Good morning team,
My only exposure to the energy sector is Tourmaline and I am thinking of adding either Suncor or Canadian Natural Resources. Can you please let me know which of these two you think would be the better choice and why. If you think there is a better choice to diversify my exposure please let me know.
Thank you,
Paula

Q: I have done well on TOU but am well off the highs. The dividend is minimal and I'm wondering if you can suggest another energy company that is strong but with a decent dividend. what about CPG, for example. I have a full ENB position as well as lots of renewables so am thinking more fossil fuel companies. thanks

Q: Is there an easy way of calculating the dividend yield if the company issues special dividend during the year. I know the present yield is 1.74%, but what would be the dividend yield if you include the special dividends it has issued during the last year. Or if there is a site that does the calculation for you I would appreciate getting it. Many tnx for all your hard work.

- Whitecap Resources Inc. (WCP)
- Kelt Exploration Ltd. (KEL)
- Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. (TVE)
- Antero Resources Corporation (AR)
Q: How would you rank these companies in terms of overall growth going forward in the energy sector. I'm currently holding TOU, WCP, TVE and KEL.
Largest position is in TOU at around 3% (+44%) and smaller positions in WCP (+69%), TVE (-9%) and KEL (-14%) . I could add to any of these names. How does TOU compare vs AR in terms of natural gas companies? AR has pulled back in the last year and today it was up close to 9% which I couldn't find any news. I'm thinking of selling some TOU or just starting a new position in AR. I also like that AR is buying back shares, have strong insider ownership, founder operated, strong margins and balance sheet. All metrics seem pretty strong with AR, any red flags that you see? Thoughts?

Q: Good day, what are your thoughts on the prospects for natural gas and what are your favourite US and CDN ways to play it?
Q: I sold my TOU & ARX about 2 months ago when the price of gas dropped and I was glad I did because both stocks drop app 20%. Right now the price of gas is still only about $2.30 and I hear that there is currently an over supply of Gas in North America (not sure about Europe - but I don't believe either company can get Gas to Europe yet) but both TOU and ARC are both rising. Why? Based on the current price of GAS both companies will see a huge drop in earnings this year. What am I missing??
Q: I would like to have a look ahead on both companies.Would TOU look at selling TPZ if the price was right and how would that affect TOU revenues and Dividend or would they sell both TOU. & Tpz if price was right.Mr Rose has already sold. Companies before.I understandTOU has some long term contracts. What does 5i crystal ball foresee in the future,s .Maybe some rich US company flush with cash look at them or would it be expensive for them. I enjoy the dividends, take your time I have many points to redem
Q: I am underweight in energy, owning TVE and ENB. Do you consider ti is a good time to increase energy exposure? I am considering TOU or SU. Which would you prefer for a 5 year hold?
Q: I own CNQ and MEG and am considering buying Tourmaline as its been hit so hard and should do better in the future. What do you think? Is owning MEG and Tour too much nat gas?

Q: If we were to see a recovery in the price of natural gas, what companies would have the most upside potential from their current price?
Of the names listed, as of today, would you consider them a buy, sell, or hold and why? Thank you for your insight.

Q: Hi, made a good profit on arx and was debating selling and buying tou, as it seems tou may be good value? Can you talk about valuation on the two and if you agree it would be a good switch . Would probably keep longer term barring any bad information.
Q: I am looking at our future LNG prospects and intend on increasing my positions in TOU, ARX and BIR. Can you firstly comment on this strategy for a long term play and secondly evaluate each company on its merits. Is there a company that would be a better choice.
