Q: Hello - thanks for your great service! I have 2 questions. The first is in regards to the Balanced Equity Portfolio. I follow it fairly closely and I noticed that you suggest a 5% weighting in each name, however it looks like it has grown from 20 names to about 23 names. Would you then begin each name with a ~4% weighting as opposed to 5%? If so, at what percentage would you trim the weighting? Would it still be at 7% as per previously suggested or would you say 6% if the starting point is about 4%?

My second question is in regards to starting a position in MX. Generally I will add names as soon as it gets added to the BE Portfolio. I saw it had a big run up today. With today's big run up, would you be comfortable taking a full position in it at the closing price today or would you wait for a lower entry point? If so, what would that be?

Thanks again for your great service!

Q: Hello Peter & Team, in my portfolio I have positions in all sectors of the economy except for materials. Other than gold stocks, could you suggest 2 or 3 names, in the materials sector, that have decent dividend and growth potential ? Thank you, Gervais

Q: Hi I5Resarch Team,

I have a full position on MX and am currently down by about 25% (it's down by about 8% today so far). Should I bite the bullet and take the loss or should I just sit tight and wait for a turn around? What are the Teams's assessments on this company going forward?

Regards,
Harry

Q: I've been looking at Methanex in view of the dramatic price drop. Further big drop today despite better earnings announcement and reasonably optimistic outlook. On the other hand 40% of earnings related to O&G industry. Would you consider this worthy of a buy or more like a falling knife? Thanks for your opinion.

Q: Hello 5i Team,
I would like to get an update on Methanex (MX). It has risen significantly over the past few months, despite some maintenance issues at some of their plants. In previous commentary, you have mentioned this stock as "cheap". Is it still cheap and would you consider this a good place to buy?
