Q: VRT has now grown to 9.5% of my total portfolio. (Thank you for the recommendation!) Would you let this winner run? Or would you be inclined to trim? If trim, what one or two US equities would you purchase (any sector) with the proceeds with a similar risk/growth profile...and why? The following US/international equities are already held: GOOG, NVDA, AMZN, MSFT, V, COST, AXON, ISRG, CLBT, and NBIS. Thank you.

Q: It’s now 2025, new Canadian leadership coming and reduced regulations/government in the US. You suggested on a reply today how a 50% US - 40% CAN - 10% Global portfolio mix might be right for today’s environment. Based on this, what is YOUR best ideas for a brand new $1M+ portfolio? Assume average investor, 15 year investment horizon with reasonable risk tolerance and loves when stocks go on sale..aka buy the correction attitude. As always.. you guys rock! Thanks. Don

Q: Would you consider Revenue Growth the leading indicator of a companies liklihood to succeed and grow its share price provided properly managed?

Seems todays most successful stock market darlings have all had tremendous revenue growth albeit not necessarily Profitable during their early days of rapid Revenue growth.

If I were to look for 2 or 3 US and Canadian Mid Cap companies most likely to lead the rest of the market with staggering Revenue growth over the next 2-5 years which do you think these might likely be?

Q: Good day,

I've picked up the above on 5i recommendations, and they started as small positions, but have done very well TVK+150%, VRT+200%, POWL +120%, and 3 months on CLBT+45%. I had a bit of usd in my TFSA and put it in CLS last week, already +20%. I assume much of that due to Trumps 'promises'.

Now that these small positions have become as much as say, my initial purchase amount on BAM, is this a thing that one adds to, since my initial buy was lower? Or now that it's a larger position you just let it ride? With 5is help and my own dd, I've been doing very on my winners:losers ratio, but have a hard time determining what is a good point to add in. Are these names worth adding to before they report next? Please rank in order with which you would add to.

Cheers,

James

Q: This stock has been on quite a run the last number of sessions. It looked like it was consolidating in the $21 range but up lately.

What would be a fair entry point and do you feel that it's priced to perfection already?

If one had to add AXON or CLBT to their TFSA which has the best long term prospects? My thought is AXON ....

Q: Dear 5i
I currently hold VRT in my TFSA and was considering adding NBIS but was wondering if they are too similar in terms of what they do . If so could you recommend another smaller cap high growth stock instead .
Thanks

Q: Hello 5i

Back in 2019 I asked if you could provide a "growthy" USA portfolio.
The above stocks were your recommendations.
Could you provide an updated "growthy" USA portfolio for 2025?
Thank you!

Q: Peter; A short while ago you had these 3 companies as your top picks on BNN Market Call.
I would appreciate your current view on each of the companies ( buy/buy more, hold, sell) as we head into the New year taking into account any material changes that may have occurred since your recommendations. Rationale for your position would be appreciated. Thanks

Q: As I don't read newspapers, I badly miss Peter's articles in the Financial Post and National. How can I get to read them?
Some small-cap stocks, like CS-T, are expected to have very high growth. Is it possible to list them irrespective of risk?

Q: I have a 1% position in CLBT and AXON at 2.5%. In a recent question, you were asked to rank 8 stocks; AXON was put first and CLBT was 7th. Do you see these 2 companies as different enough to offer diversification to a portfolio? Regardless, I probably have more holdings than I really need; if it were you would you consolidate CLBT into AXON? Many thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Hi Team,
With an approx. 10yr timeframe, I'm looking for the next "NVDA" like returns. I am looking at both CLBT and NBIS. Do these 2 fit the bill as having exceptional potential with reasonable probability of success? Currently after today's 11% drop in NBIS I look at this name and scratch my head as to how a company like this can be valued so cheaply, so it seems. With a cash balance of close to half the market cap an investor here is buying into this high growth business paying what appears to be a cheap valuation for its assets and business. If NBIS delivers as expected is this a name you would consider for multi-bagger returns over time, potentially? Would you recommend trimming long term blue cap winners to buy into this name to boost growth in a portfolio? Also, how would you compare this to CLBT's growth potential? I am interested in both names as they both have a very compelling growth story, both in what I see as to be in areas of the "future" which should show high growth with proven management teams (pending CEO replacement of course with CLBT)

Thanks,
Shane.

Q: Hello 5i
Could you rank the above stocks for a 3-5 year TFSA hold with a medium to high risk tolerance in mind.

Q: Hi Team,
What would be some of your best ideas in the small/ mid cap space today either US or CND that you see having the best potential over the next decade (medium risk). Or alternatively if I wanted to play it safer what US based etf would be suitable to play the theme here assuming small and mid caps will show outperformance in the next few years? I am leaning towards the US sector as outperforming canada at least in the next few years.

Shane.
