Q: I‘m a happy shareholder of BBD since 2022. I took profit from time to time including early May’24.
I don’t understand the rise from $63 to $91 since earnings release (up 16% on Wednesday).
BBD got many upgrades from analysts around $100, but this stock is not cheap anymore.
Close to a MEME stock? Or any good news this week? Thanks for your services and patience.

Recently RBC , CIBC and TD Securities raised their target prices for Bombardier. The private jet sector seems to be promissing. Do you still consider this stock as unattractive?

Q: Bombardier has announced a conversion for shareholders who want it and are holding series 3 and series 2 shares. Series 3 will pay about 4.58% quarterly based on government bond + 145%. Series 2 is floating rate based on a percentage of prime. I currently hold series 3 with over a 20% gain. What do you recommend?

Q: Hello Peter et al,

I have had $250,000 in cash for about a year now and have recently bought LSPD, TOI and BBD near all time highs for the 3 companies i.e. approximately 40%, 40% and 20% of the portfolio. Of course since I invested in these securities, they have all declined, LSPD more than the others. I have a high risk tolerance and won’t need the money for at least 5 years. With the yields increasing, is there a higher risk of my investments tanking or should I stay invested? As always, your advice is very much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

1) With the recent announcement of bbd.b rejoining the S&P/TSX Composite Index on September 20, what movement can be expected, if any.
