Q: Hi 5i- LNR continues their long slide down , -44% since Original purchase 2 years ago and another -6% today. What’s seems to be going on here?
What is your opinion are there better times ahead?
At its current price Is this a stock worth holding over next 2 years or average down or better to take the loss and move on?
Your opinion greatly appreciated.
Thx

Q: Linamar, Magna, Methanex and many other cyclical stocks are near lows. So in order to buy low and sell high, would this be the time to buy these cyclical stocks? What generally is a cyclical cycle? I keep thinking of Warren Buffet: Buy when others are fearful and sell when others are greedy!

Q: Further to my prior question about allocating stocks to multiple sectors, how would you assign the following? I know this is 'not a science', but I think it will give me a better idea of my sector distribution.
TCL.A Cons Disc:Industrial
CCL.B Cons Disc:Industrial
NFI Cons Disc:Industrial
MG Cons Disc:Industrial
LNR Cons Disc:Industrial
TFII Cons Disc:Industrial
EIF Industrial:Financial
AQN Utilities:Energy
EMA Utilities:Energy
MX Mining:Energy
T Telecom:Healthcare
PSK Mining:Financial
TRI Financial:Cons Disc

If you think that other sectors should be included here, please add them.
Thanks again, and please deduct questions as you see fit.

Q: I have about 10K of NFI and I'm down about 20% on it (paid close to 12K). Thinking on selling half of my NFI (5K) and using proceeds to buy 5K of Linamar. To spread the risk and also hoping to leverage the potential upside in LNR. NFI pay a 5% dividend though which is attractive (I don't need the dividends yet but at least I get paid to wait). Your thoughts on this ? Stick with NFI or split it between NFI and LNR (I guess which has the better potential for capital appreciation ?).

BTW - Love the new portfolio tools...keep up the good work.
