Q: Hi, can you rank the following companies as long term hold potential taking into account current valuations. I am looking to start positions in all companies I am just not sure which ones to start with.
Also, I feel like there is so much noise about moving away from oil that buying ENB long term can be a bad portfolio decision. Can you also comment on this. I am 30 and don't plan on selling anything any time soon.

- Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (ATD)

- Dollarama Inc. (DOL)
- CCL Industries Inc. Unlimited Class B Non-Voting Shares (CCL.B)
- Methanex Corporation (MX)
- Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (AEM)
- Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (PBH)
- ZCL Composites Inc. (ZCL)
- Sleep Country Canada Holdings Inc. (ZZZ)
Q: Hi 5i,
I currently have 14% of my portfolio in materials, which include MX (3.2%), CCL (4.25%), ZCL (3.47%) and AEM (2.84%).
I also have 12% of my portfolio in consumer non-disc, which include PBH (4.85%), DOL (3.47%) and ZZZ (3.2%).
For a growth oriented investor with 30 years until retirement what do you recommend as an appropriate allocation to materials and consumer non-disc? I will need to trim my holdings in each of these sectors to re-balance as I feel I am overweight so any suggestions on what should go?
Thank you as always,
Jon

Q: Could you please comment on $CCL.B and $WCN for a long term {2-3 Years} hold. Thanks Valter.
Q: How did Samson's Holdings Limited end up owning 95% of CCL's class A shares?
On your updated company report, you mentioned that insiders own 17% of CCL. With Samson getting rid of their 14% position, I am assuming the total shares owned by insiders is now 3%?
Is Samson's at all related to the management of CCL?
And lastly, what percentage of a portfolio would you make CCL?
Thanks.
John

Q: In your June report CCL.b is only a 1.34% position in the BE portfolio. I think this is a typo after the split.
Q: Can you explain what's driving down the price of ccl this morning? Something about a bought deal. Not sure what this means. Thanks!
Q: Can you comment on the CCL price drop today, please?
Q: CCL.B is down more today then its usual trading. All I see is the completion of the secondary issue.

Inside my portfolio, my consumer cyclical weighting is over 20%, please rate best to worst;
GIL, MG, BYD.UN, TOY, AYA, CCL & NFI and on the U.S.A. side we have GPC, DIS & HD.
I would like to lower the % to 15%.
thanks,

Q: We would like to have more exposure to the consumer sector in our portfolio. We are considering adding one of the first three companies and/or adding more to winpak, which we currently hold. What is your opinion?
Q: Regarding today's decrease in the price of CCL.B you responded to a question "CCL has done a secondary bought deal of $333 million at a discount". I must admit that I do not understand the answer, nor do I understand why this would cause a significant drop in the price of a stock. I would greatly appreciate clarification of your answer. Thank you.

Q: I hold the above in a RIF and have weighted to cover the required withdrawal amount with dividends. Does this sound appropriate and if not, would appreciate your thoughts. Do you see a major loss of principal if markets continue its downward trend. Thanks for all your help.
