Q: Hello,
I have cash in my RRSP to buy an initial position in one of these companies. Growth focus, with a chance to double the share price in a 5-year timeline approx. Morningstar rates both as "undervalued".
On TOI, on April 1st you mentioned two funds have recently bought-in (Fidelity and Akre). TOI has now run up 20% in the last 3 weeks, ahead of the May 5 call and their first reporting as a public co. It feels like the smart money knows there is good performance coming on TOI, near-term and further out, with its parent company providing support. If you were picking just one of these...

Q: You mentioned in other responses that Topicus.com hasn't reported their first financial reporting yet. But I see that Topicus on Sedar, i see there is a financial report as recent as Feb 2021, reporting for the period up until end of 2020. What am I missing here?
Q: Would you say TOI was a mini European CSU or something else?
Q: Does CSU maintain an economic interest in Topicus? Based on my review of the final long form prospectus for Topicus and insider reporting it looks like CSU holds voting control and a significant number of pref shares in Topicus. What I'm trying to confirm is whether I need to buy Topicus to obtain exposure to its growth or whether as a CSU holder I will already have some exposure.
Q: Hello, we have a 1.5% position in Topicus ( spin off shares and some addition around $62 ). Share price has shot up, almost every day, in your words, the scarcity value being one of the reasons. What would be a reasonable price range to add, on a pull back, if it ever happens, in near term ? Thank You
Q: I am wondering if it is a good idea to still buy TOI? I fortunatly did buy some more a while back. But, I have some money in my TFSA with which I was planning to buy TOI...when it went down a bit. Well, up seven percent today. Up over fifty percent since I first bought. Can it keep going up like this? Better to look elsewhere to place this money?
thanks
thanks
Q: This stock has quite a run up do u know the cause of run up? Wondering if I should continue to hold since I am up significantly on the position. Thanks Clare

Q: TD WebBroker assigns a negative $1.93 capital cost of TOI shares from the spinout resulting in a potential capital gain in a cash account greater than the current value of the shares - is this possible?
According to the CSU - CFO the preferred shares, which I believe CSU holds, will be merged with our SVS shares in future at which time the SVS shares will reflect the full value of the business. When will the merger take place? Does this mean our present share value reflects only future growth and could a bump be expected on the merger? Market cap shows as either $3BB or $6BB depending on where you look and does this number therefore reflect the total value with the pfd. shares? Share volume of 40K seems pretty light for an outfit this size, agreed?

Q: Any details with regards to the reasons for the 9% pop yesterday?
Thanks for your continued guidance.
Dave.

Q: Is it normal for a 3B market cap company to be on the Venture Exchange?
Why would they list it on the Venture to start? Could TOI not be listed on the TSX to start. I just find the move interesting and was interested in your perspective.

Q: Good day! I will be receiving a large income tax refund in the coming days and will be adding in to my wife's TFSA which already includes positions in ATZ, NVEI, KL, GSY and TRUL. Time horizon of 20+ years affords a healthy appetite for risk. Her others accounts are well-balanced and moderate risk. I'm looking to add 2-3 positions in the above stocks. Please rank in order of preference for a long term hold. I am also open to any other suggestions. Thank you! (Note: I own WELL, XBC, LSPD, GOOS in my own accounts)
