Q: I have ample gold exposure--mining, bullion and FNV (stream). I am considering diversifying within adjacent sectors like silver and rare earths. I am considering selling FNV and buying something else (maybe something like WPM for the added silver exposure). What options would you look at for this move?

Q: Given a competing offer will not be coming and it from my math it seems YRI current price is not really showing any discount (you can take a look) to the current offer, would you suggest its time to move on and look for a replacement. Any suggestions besides AEM/BTO for safer precious metals holdings who are paying a decent dividend.

Q: Why is Gold and related stocks doing badly? Should it not do better in recession or when stock market is tanking and interest rates rising? What are your opinion about the future prospects in near and long term? (My exposure to these is through XGD, FNV and AEM)

Q: Hi 5i team.
about 5 weeks ago sold AEM and FNV for tax loss and bought ABX as a proxy.
Have a 2-3 % weighting in gold.
For a conservative retiree, would you suggest to sell ABX (small gain which is good) and go back to AEM and FNV for longer term holds?

Q: Hi 5i,

I have maybe a rare question for you. I have done quite well with my stock selections (much thanks to you for many of the wise choices) and are sitting on a pool of Capitol Gains. Now, my wife and I are entering the phase of our life where we can make some significant "tax-friendly" charitable donations. Always keeping in mind, saving enough for the rest of our days. Our question is: If you had to sell from the list I provided, and thinking of holding the remainder at least another 10 years, which would you chose to sell a portion of ? Perhaps the top 3, in order of choice ? Thanks so much.
