Q: Can you give me your 3 favourite Canadian gold stocks and reasons why? Thank you.
Q: I hold FNV in my RRIF . WPM seems to be presently performing better and predicted to continue to do so. Dividend
yield is better with WPM and market cap is not an issue. This is my only gold holding. Do you feel a switch is
justified.? Thanks for your help

Q: Good morning, comments please on the deal between the government of Panama and First Quantum. I expected the share prices of FM and FNV to have a decent pop when the standoff was resolved but that didn't happen. Is the deal not as favourable as was expected? Will this deal affect the future royalty stream for FNV (did FNV have to provide any concession to assist in getting the agreement)?

Is there a better alternative than the ones I've listed?

Q: Thanks for answereing my question on AEM. I share your negativity towards this report.
Do you still like gold representation in the portfolio given whats happening to interest rates, the US $ etc.
If yes, what would you replace AEM with in the portfolio. My intent will be to sell it today.
Thanks
Sheldon

Q: Good afternoon,
Follow up question, should FM shut down operations in Panama, what remedy(s) does FNV have should they not receive their contracted ore ? Is this a serious long term issue or viewed more as part of the negotiation between the two sides?
Thank you

Q: Hi - I am wondering if you think the move higher in gold has exhausted itself? If not, would you prefer AEM over FNV (or vice versa)...or would you favour a bullion ETF like GLD
Q: I'm interested in re-entering the gold mining market with central banks around the world are starting to increase their gold reserves. I used own these three names - YRI, BTO, and FNV - in the past. I'm surprised that all three are now dividend payers!
Would you be interested in these three names again at this juncture? Kindly rank them in the order of preference and also please add if there are other gold miner names that I should consider (regardless of yield).
Thanks.

Q: I hold FNV, KRR and AEM for gold exposure. I am thinking of selling FNV after the news related to their royalty stream in Panama. How material is this for FNV? Do you feel this will be an overhang on the stock in the next few months? I am hopeful for a little run in gold in the next few months and i am concerned FNV will not participate due to this news. If selling FNV, what do you recommend to compliment my other 2 holdings?
Q: I will selling AEM for tax loss reason and would FNV be a good replacement or no need for 31 days or would you suggest a different name for proxy for AEM?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: With you getting rid of MMX from your model portfolio, what replacement for gold exposure would you prefer? I like the royalty model.
- Newmont Corporation (NEM)
- Franco-Nevada Corporation (FNV)
- Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (WPM)
- Maverix Metals Inc. (MMX)
- Triple Flag Precious Metals Corp. (TFPM)
- Victoria Gold Corp. (VGCX)
Q: Currently reviewing my precious metals exposure. In my royalty companies I have a full position in FNV and MMX. Would you hold MMX with the pending purchase by TFPM or would you sell and buy WPM at this time? In my gold miners, I have half positions in VGCX and NEM (position resulted from the Goldcorp merger), should either be sold and if so, would you purchase AEM? Any further thoughts on the precious metals exposure would be appreciated.
