Thanks

Q: Have some cash available to add to one or 2 of the following: CLS, DOL, DOO, GIB.A, IFC, QSR, STN, TIH. For a purchase at the current price, please rank from 1 through 8, for total return over the next 3 - 5 years. I believe you are pretty positive about each of these companies. No concerns about sector allocation.

Q: I’m looking to add a Canadian stock with great potential to compound over the next 5 years or more. I already own stocks such as TFII, ATD, BN and CSU. Which do you think has is the best opportunity to start a new position along GSY, DOL or TRI? Or maybe WSP? Please rank and/is there another I should maybe consider?

Q: As far as the Discount Dollar Stores goes, I know and shop at Dollarama(Canadian)..., I have never experienced Five Below(US Based)...

- I used to like Dollarama as a Consumer, but its starting to get a bit pricey on items I regularly purchased... Not a fan of the price increases, but I still shop there for certain value...

Questions:

1. Which of the 2 companies would you suggest buying, based on valuation, stock price , growth , future and safety...

2. Buy Both or One

3. Crystal ball : Could you see any of the 2 to be takeover targets in future?

4. Any other suggestions in this space?

Thanks in advance
Regards,
M

Q: Hi 5i
How do you view DLTR earnings release 1.7b loss closing 1000 stores etc..
In light of this would you expect material impact for DOL and its upcoming earning release... I did see this morning that national bank upgraded price target for DOL...

Current holder but with only a 1 to 2 year hold. Would you continue to hold DOL...

thx

Q: I currently have HCAL in a growth orientated TFSA and I don't think this is a good fit.
Currently, I hold Goog, SHOP, LMN & CLS. Do have a few ideas for a stock that could replace the HCAL ETF?

Q: Can you please provide your thoughts on the stocks listed for a RESP that will start to draw down in 4 years? In addition to these positions the portfolio has a good core position in CDN, US and INTL large cap ETFs. Any that you would get rid of now? If so, please provide alternatives (both Cdn and US).

Q: Hi Peter and 5iresearch team:
In your answer to Gerry's question on Feb 16, you mentioned that CSU and ATB have been the best Canadian compounders over the last ten years. You added DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI based on historical performance and you are expecting LMN.V, TVK, HPS.A, TOI, GSY to be potential Canadian compounders in the future.

1. Would YOU still invest in CSU, ATB, DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI with the same conviction and weighting?
2. Could you please provide a similar answer but for the US market? Please provide 10 or so best US compounders based on historical performance that YOU think investors should keep investing in and 5 or so US companies that YOU would buy as potential US compounders in the future.

Thank you for the great service.

Q: What are your top buys (3) right now if you were investing in a mix of growth, quality, and somewhat reasonable valuation? With your answer/explanation can you include fwd p/e or whatever relevant metrics vs peers?

Also, what's a quality stock or two you'd like to buy but would want to see come down a bit/something you'd be looking to pick up in a broad market selloff?

Q: What would you view as being the top Canadian compounders over say a 10-15 year period. I'm thinking CSU and ATD. What others for investors that want compounding growth over many years.

Q: Making a large spousal RRSP contribution soon and am looking for guidance as to the best 3 or 4 stocks with a tilt toward growth that would compliment this group with a brief explanation as to thier merits and why they compliment the existing holdings. Initially had my sights set on DOL, ATS, CNR and IFC but not sure these would be the right choice to maximize compounding for someone with a very long investment horizon.

Wife’s portfolios currently include: ITOT, IEMG, XEF, AVGO, COST, SBUX, RY, FTS, BCE, ATD, DIR.UN, SHOP, GSY, BN, TOI, ATZ, NVEI
Most Mag 7 are owned in my own accounts with adequate exposure when considering combined portfolios so not looking for any of those.
