Q: I will admit to being mildly nervous about SHOPs rate of growth over the past couple of months. I'm now more than 300% over my PP. As it recently broke through $500 CAD/share ... and now, $600 CAD/share ... I'm feeling pressured to keep trimming to 5% of my portfolio. Is this merely an analogue of the CSU "story" (whose stock price, incidentally, appears to be moving into "new territory")? I'm curious to know your thoughts about these developments. Thanks.

Q: Hi, using your analytical tool, it's telling me I'm still somewhat light on my tech sector. I hold a full position in CSU (and have done very well), and have half positions in OTEX and KXS (up reasonably well) and a quarter position in LSPD (flat).

What would you add to to bring my overall sector weighting up? I"m a middle of the road investor.

Thanks,
Robert

Q: Hi 5i team,
Looking to add 2 stocks (2-4% position) in my RRSP portfolio from the following (MG, KXS, CSU, GSY, WSP) for a holding period of 5-10 years, not too concerned about market volatility. Looking for quality company (good operator in his business, good balance sheet, etc…) with good growth potential.

What would be your top 2 picks from these and why ?

Thank you

Q: I'm a bit confused. The Nasdaq is up. All the markets are generally up. Tech in the US is up. But ALL Canadian tech stocks are down, and in some cases down heavily. What would account for this?

Q: Both of these companies are up significantly over the past year. Could you highlight what your rationale is for purchasing at these levels, and valuations. I am thinking of acquiring both, but want to understand more clearly.
Will there be a report update in near future for CSU?

Q: Understanding that nothing is ever a sure thing given that risk exists, at what price does CSU become too compelling to not buy if you don't currently have a position. It seems to have broken it's upward trend line which concerns me and I'm wondering if you can confirm that technical assumption and then give an opinion on whether or not to disregard and buy anyway.

Thanks!

Q: Hi,

I'm looking to start investing a lump sum over the next 12 months or so. What list of Canadian stocks would you recommend at current levels? Do you have 5-7 names that you find particularly attractive right now. Looking for a mix of growth and income with not too much risk.

Thanks,
Jason
