Q: Can I get your quick thoughts on CRWD and VEEV earnings? Do you still like both for long term growth?

Also thoughts on the VIX cracking above 30? With rates expected to rise in the near future, do you see a shift from more growth to value and more headwind for high growth stocks? I’m holding some high growth names such as SHOP, NVEI, LSPD, U, CRWD, APPS, WELL, VEEV and am a long term investor. Do you still have high confidence in all these names? Have done well but the recent pullback is tough to see. Thanks!

I would appreciate your thoughts on a top ten list for growth plays in the US for an RRSP. (1 ETF) Time horizon is on my side as I’m a younger investor, and a dividend is not important.

Do you recommend continuing to hold all of them? Would you consolidate sell some and add to some?

Q: Could you offer your view on PLTK after it's recent quarter and significant drop in share price. Time to add (I have a small position), wait or move on. Is it in any way comparable to Unity?

We recently sold U: 50% gain and a bit too high valuation for us. To quote Peter: we would reduce very expensive growth stock exposure. Current tech holdings are CSU, PANW, AVGO, OTEX, TOI and DND; the latter 2 being about 1% positions. We would like to replace U with something "less" exciting and are considering TCS, APPS and QCOM as you seem to favour these stocks (like others, I read the questions/answers daily). TCS is very appealing as it looks to have a moat within the health care sector, but we also own VEEV and WELL. Is there too much overlap here? APPS is a volatile trader and not really in our wheelhouse, but is of interest. Can you make a suggestion as to how you'd replace U?

Q: Hello. A forced choice request. I have been tracking these 6 captionally noted US stocks for some time. At the moment I have capital to invest in three new positions. My interest is in growth, and I'm planning to hold for min 5 to max 10 years. Clearly, I'm an investor and not a trader. These are the holdings in my wife's TFSA account. I have owned CNR since March of 2020 and have done quite well but I'm wondering if this stock has reached the top of the price range and it's time to move on. The average Price Target is $165. Do you think that CNR still has upside or can you name two stocks to replace it.

I am up 40% on CAE, which I don't think is going any farther until planes are back in the sky in a meaningful way. Would you agree?

If you more or less agree, I am thinking of selling CAE and put the proceeds to one or two of the followings ordered base on my losses in each. The original investment is almost the same amount in each stock with the exception of BLFY which was 1/2 of others:

ABNB (-5%)
PLTR (-6%)
CRNC (-23%)
BLFY (-40%)
PINS (-28%)

Would you average down or would you sit tight? I know you don't like averaging down in general, but I thought I would ask as sometimes there are better growth opportunities and it does make sense to build up a larger position.

Q: Am wondering which of these stocks are vulnerable to climbing interest rates. For the vulnerable ones, would you please advise at what point you would consider reducing or selling them. Also, a strategy on when and how to do such an assessment would be instructive.

Thanks for your great advice. Most of your subscribers say this regularly, but they probably really mean it ! If it weren't for 5i, I'd still be holding a bag of mutual funds not knowing how big my losses were.

Q: Hi Team,
I am holding the following stocks at a loss. BABA (-52%), MED (-30%), TT(-4%),EGLX (-33%), MG (-8%), SWKS (-20%), U (-1%), PINS (-33%).

My question is, should I continue to hold the line with all of these? Or are there any that stand out to you as being better off to sell and swap out with a different holding of which you suggest? Or any of these I should be selling, and adding to another one of these? I thought perhaps after yesterdays sell off there might be some moves I should be making. (Although the market is already recovering nicely today on alot of these names). Suggestions here would be appreciated. Thanks!
