Q: Please update your "favs" long-term 10 year HOLDS or "keepers", CAD and USD - up to 20 names . Looking for high conviction ideas. I am retired and have no need for income. I would like to check my portfolio against this list and make adjustments as necessary. Could you provide (a) rationale for each, and (b) percentage you would allocate to each.
Thank you

Q: I recently became 5I member and this is my first question. I recently uploaded my Portfolio and It had given me some meaningful and actionable information. As per the Portfolio analysis I need to do rotate money from overweight financial sector 20.83% versus 13.3% suggested and invest in Technology 6.6% versus suggested 16.3%

Given that Technology has a very good run-in last year, should I increase my technology exposure or wait for a pull back? Within the Financial sector I hold TD, BMO, RY, BNS, LB, POW, EQB. Which one would you recommend that I trim or exit, and the which 2 technology stock would you recommend to invest in? In Technology I hold Intel, Cisco and Cloudflare

Thanks

Q: Great and timely article yesterday on this "Phoenix market". With that in mind, which companies in the US manufacturing, health care, energy and technology industries would you be comfortable putting money into today with a 10 plus year hold with a medium/high risk tolerance? Are there any US names that you think should be full positions in the majority of such portfolios? Please feel free to deduct as many question credits as you deem appropriate.

Q: Hi 5i team,
With the current market volatility, I want to review my tech holdings and dispose of weaker ones. The review criteria are: 1. Profitable 2. Double digit revenue growth forecast 3. Healthy balance sheets. From the listed companies above, which do NOT meet these criteria? Many thanks.

Q: Hi Peter,
Thanks you very much for introducing PLTR on BNN a while ago. It seems to be a winner!
If you appear on BNN now, what would be your top picks (US only)?
Comparing US stocks with Canadian stocks which soon might be listed in US( such as AT.to), do you think these Canadian stocks have some advantage? In another word, should I just pick the top US stocks for retail investor like me?

I really appreciate your opinion!

Q: First of all, thank you for your amazing work. Cannot express how helpful my 5i subscription has been. Life-changing in all honesty.

My positions in LSPD (17.3%) and GSY (12.7%) have gotten a little out of hand. I was fortunate to pick them up near their lows in April. I've already trimmed both a couple of times, but I am really struggling to sell more given the positive outlook 5i has of both for the future. I've seen similar questions asked about trimming and selling positions with phenomenal growth and seen your responses suggesting to trim positions to reasonable weightings. I thought I might have an easier time doing so if you suggested some positions to add to or some new ones viewed as favourably as LSPD and GSY.

I have the following companies in a TFSA and have included the weightings only of positions I think might warrant a second look. While I anticipate a comment about weightings needing to be personal what would YOU suggest as the highest weighting for LSPD and GSY? And, again, please suggest some positions to add to or new ones.

Feel free to take question credits as you see fit.

DOO (2.1%), ATZ (2%), AW.UN, BYD
ATD.B
BMO, BRK-B:US, GSY (12.7%)
WELL (4%), VEEV:US (1.3%)
CAE, DAL:US, AC (1%), XBC (3%)
LSPD (17.3%), KXS (7.6%), DSG (3%), CSU, PHO (1.1%), AMD:US, CRWD:US (2.4%), U:US (2.1%), NVDA:US (0.83%), TTD:US(1.2%)
ROKU:US (1.9%), TTWO:US (1.2%), PINS:US (1.5%)
AQN, BEP.UN

Thank you again

Q: Kxs has been drifting lower for the past few weeks. Comments?
Also, in response to today’s question from John asking you to rate TFSA stocks for a 5 year hold your answer didn’t include KXS as he requested. Could you revisit this response please.

Q: I have full positions on those above. I want to add one more tech company. I am trying to buy only one within the sector and at the same time diversify their business. For 3/5 years I am thinking crowd, pltr or possibly pins. What are your thoughts and a short opinion? Thank you for all the excellent service.

Q: Please give me your opinion on these three company's management team, growth prospects, debt levels, and current valuation. I am looking for a home run over the next two years for my more speculative part of the portfolio. Any other names you would prefer? Regards greg

Q: Happy New Year to the 5i team.

I was hoping to get some feedback about how about to allocate about 11% of my total portfolio that is otherwise well-balanced and is made up of a mixture of Canadian dividend and large-cap stocks, and US and international ETF's.

These purchases will be in my TFSA and I am seeking greatest total return for the next 5-10 years. I am not afraid of risk but am also looking at sound investments rather than speculative purchases or quick trades.

I currently own GH, ISRG, LSPD and XBC and would like to add 4-5 more names. On my short list are the following: CRWD, MITK, ROKU, TTD, TT, U, VEEV and XYL.
Are there any from that list that you think match up well with my existing stocks? Alternatively, if you think there are better names that I haven't mentioned please advise.

Thanks in advance for all the great work you do,
Rory
