Q: In your answer to Ken on Aug 25, you state that DND is trading at 7X earnings. I haven’t been able to verify that anywhere.
They are certainly not trading 7X TTM or 2022 earnings. The highest analyst estimate for 2023 I see is for about $1.20 . That would imply a forward PE closer to 14X. I would note also that DND doesn’t have a great record recently at living up to analysts expectations. Is 7X based on 2024 estimates?

Q: Hi 5i Team,

Would you recommend any of these as a buy at this current time as a basket of smaller cap companies? If so, what order would you rank these?

Thanks,
Jon

Q: followup to my question from yesterday about dnd. you replied
The Link deal would be highly accretive to earnings, and set DND up for very strong market share and growth. That being said, with the long delays, regulatory issues, and the market, we do not think many investors really think this deal is going to close.
has this been your thinking when you have recently rated, on several occasions, dnd as one of your top growth picks? has your view changed with the apparent demise of the link deal?

Q: I have an interesting question regarding value vs growth. I don't have exposure to MSFT and still feel bad for not having bought it in the 2009 crash. With a 5 year time frame please rank the above from top stock to least stock performance (prediction, prediction). If you were to sell one of the above to buy MSFT which would it be?

Thank you

Yves
