Q: Hello 5I at what price do you consider DND a very good buy? And how is it priced now in your opinion? Thanks.

Q: If you had the choice between these 2 companies over a 2 year period which one do you think would perform better. Thanks.
Q: Hi 5i!,
Looking at acquiring this Company. In an answer to a recent question or it. You said there was a lot of 'noise' surrounding the stock and that may account for its dip. Can you elaborate?
Thanks,
Jason

Q: Hi, These companies are generally liked by 5i and we have holdings in each as follows
TIXT 0.5%,
DND 1% and
NVEI 1.5%
TIXT was recently added to your Growth Portfolio with 2.5% position.
Although, they operate in different areas of technology, from the future Growth perspective, how would you rate them in order, if we have some cash to add. Also, it would help, if you could provide rationale behind your decision to add TIXT to Growth portfolio, vis a vis DND and NVEI. Thank You

Q: Do you recommend buy DND at $45?
Q: I realize DND is an acquisition/roll-up strategy but is there just too much dilution with all these stock offerings? Wondering if this is a good entry point or with the stock off $5 or so from the recent offering is the market signalling indigestion? Thanks
Q: Hi 5i,
Do you know who the inside sellers were with the recent DND financing?
Can you provide information on the new debenture? Interest rate and conversion price would be nice.
Thanks
John

Q: Any Idea what the Dye & Durham $500 Million Bought Deal Offering of Common Shares is for and why the stock is down more than 6%? I had a partial position in the company, would it be a good time to add today? End of January, you mentioned 37$ would be a nice price point to add... we're a bit far off but has your outlook increased a little bit with the recent quarter results? Thanks as always

Thanks Valter

Q: Hi, Could you please comment on the quarterly results released Sunday evening and the guidance provided. We have <1% position in the company. In light of the results, do you see $52 a reasonable price to add up, or wait for a pull back. Thanks
Q: Several Canadian tech firms are intending to IPO this year including a couple from the 5i backyard in Waterloo, hoping to replicate the success of Dye and Durham and Shopify. Names such as Auvik Networks and Magnet Forensics have been mentioned in a G&M article with other names such as Thinkific and Vendasta. Do you have any insight into which might be the most interesting of these or any others?
Q: I notice that although Dye and Durham is growing quickly, they seem to take on debt, unlike other acquisitive firms such as Enghouse or Constellation. It seems to me like quite a bit of debt for a company that has $20 million or so quarterly revenues. Can you comment on their level of debt as you see it and if this presents a medium-term risk to their strategy? Thanks.
Q: Just your general thoughts on DND's recent Australian deal? Thanks as always for your great service.

Q: There are a lot of small to medium sized Canadian technology companies, some of them fairly new to the stock market, that have seen very good stock price appreciation in the last year or two. Many/most of these companies are not profitable, and obviously this is a fairly speculative segment of the market. Today, I heard Darren Sissons talking about JDS Uniphase which went from $2 to $1,000 and back to $2 in the tech bubble 21 years ago. I'm wondering about how many of these small to medium sized Canadian tech companies might suffer a similar fate, and how many will succeed. Of the following list of stocks, what would be your estimate for the % of them that will succeed 5 - 10 years down the road at becoming long term successful businesses, with strong profits and a substantially higher stock price than now, and what % will fall by the wayside, failing to become good profitable businesses, and seeing their stock price drop off substantially. There are no doubt others that could be included in this list, but these are the ones I have picked out. Not asking which ones will succeed, just trying to get an idea of general potential for success/failure for this type of company/stock. ADCO, AT, CTS, DCBO, DND, KSI, LSPD, MVP, NVEI, PHO, QUIS, STC, WISH.

Q: Hello 5i,
The above stocks have all pulled back between 13-22% recently.
What order, if at all, would you be adding to the positions?
Thank you

Q: What would you consider a good entry point on a pull back for each stock?
Q: I have had a nice profit in DND but it has dropped 14% this past month. Do you see room for growth or should I move on?
Q: I'm looking at tech companies for a long term hold. How would you rank these three: DND, DCBO and NVEI in terms of share price growth in a year or two? Thanks.
