Q: Hi Peter,

Can you please provide a list of the top five companies that you would consider taking a short position for the next six months? Please provide a brief explanation why these companies were selected to be included in your shortlist.

Thanks, for your advice.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Besides companies such as Tesla and the large auto companies, are there any smaller auto companies that may have some upside in the EV space. Any geographic location is fine. Thanks.

Q: I was looking for reasons on the big sell off in FLTR the other day (when your site was down) and pulled this up. Oddly (to me) DKNG is still trading at a respectable valuation. To me the whole thing sounds horrible. What do you make of it?

Q: I have very significant losses on these stocks, 45-55%. Are any worth holding for recovery? Your assessment of the potential and problems for each, please.
Thanks for the help. I enjoy the questions every morning, and have learned a lot.

Q: Besides the above company is there any other plays for EV or autonomous driving?

Perhaps charging components, chips, cameras or something else?

I'm open to US or Canadian company's. I have a long term out look and high risk tolerance.

Thank you.

Q: After watching Tesla from the sidelines (sadly) for too long, I would like to start an investment in the EV "sector". I am thinking about a basket approach and would appreciate your opinion on a few that I know of and any others that you may suggest.
Workhorse, WKHS; Arcimoto, FUV (does not pop up on your site), Nio inc, NIO; Nikola Motors, NKLA; Kandi Technologies, KNDI; and of course, Tesla, TSLA. I realize that some if not all of these may be speculative and require a long time frame but I do believe that there is an EV revolution coming and I would like to be part of it as both an investor and a consumer. Do any of them have serious red flags?
Is there a very specific ETF that might be an easier way to go? Any thoughts on whether Rivian might go public any time soon? Should GM be on the list perhaps?
As always, thanks so much for your valued opinions regarding this and everyone else's enquiries!

Q: I have a follow up question on NKLA (thanks for the very quick response by the way).

Just wondering how you would interpret the fact that the there is such a divergence between the at the money put and call prIces. For example, at $65 strike, July call last traded at $7.20 while put traded at $31.20. Is option market telling you something quite different than stock market? Is such divergence from put-call parity common?

Thx,

Steven
