Q: Please rank the above listed stocks and an explanation for #1? I am more focussed on growth as I have a significant time horizon. Also, which account is preferred for the following? Tfsa or rrsp?

Also these are currently my holdings in my tfsa. Would you sell one of the following for one of the above listed stock, or wait for new money? Thanks

Also ETF ideas to look @ please. Please deduct question credits as appropriate.

Q: Hello. I am looking at buying stock in one of these three companies. I recognize that these selections are in very different sectors. I would very much appreciate your opinion as to which one seems to hold the best potential as a long-term hold (5+ years). Thanks.

Q: Hi, My respected 5i team
During the March 2020 market correction, your team provided a special report which was a big help for me to take advantage of the market correction. I bought some solid names at a discount as the report recommended. Are you guys still doing this kind of special report in the future?
Could you please recommend 5 solid names to buy in Canadian and US markets respectively if there is a market correction again? Do you think it is a good time to buy them now during the current market  drawdown?
Pls list the names in the order from your most favorite to the least. Thanks in advance!

Q: Good evening,

I’m looking to increase my stock holdings in the industrial sector. I currently own HON at 3% and have a small position in XBC (due to recent declines). I’d like to add 3 long-term stocks and have identified the following as options: CNR, WSP or J, TFII, XYL, ATA, ROP. I can accept higher risk and would like companies that are leaders or doing something new/innovative in their area. I was also thinking of diversifying within the industrial sector. I’m wondering what 3 additions you’d pick at this time, either from my list above or others that I may have missed? I’m also wondering whether I should add to XBC at this point?

Thank you for great this service!

Lisa

Q: Each of these names are now near or above 10% of my portfolio.
Your thought above trim them down all by half, reduce risk: keep some cash, buy some medical names: MDT/SYK ,other fang names: FB/GOOG, industrials: looking at Carrier/Trane/Raytheon.

Thanks you!

Q: Good Morning,
This a two part question: I currently hold a 2% position in SHOP and I'm considering adding to SHOP or starting a new position in LSPD. Which of the two would you recommend today?
Secondly- I've noticed in some of the questions you like TT for Industrials. I need to add another Industrial name, and was curious what is is about TT that makes it stand out from other names?
Thank You

Q: Just thoughts...First background -  I have an income, balance and growth portfolio that's invested in trade, TFSA and LIRA accounts...all similar to 5iR's...and also a US balance portfolio with a definite growth tilt...and I like to stay within the portfolio framework, aka add to existing stock positions which now total 100 positions. With cash on hand, I'm muddled about what to invest in, aka Cdn and US stocks? And here is the tug...there seems to be many other good stocks but from my reading of 5iR, it's better to stay with the ones you have or totally drop the existing position and move onto a new position. With that in mind, what are the Cdn 5iR positions would you suggest are a buy today or watch it for a buy? When it comes to the US, the draw for me today is to add to existing positions 'cause of the strength of the Loonie and the expectation that it will decline over the next few years relative to the Green Back. What would you suggest are US stock buys now for a longer term hold, like 5+ years. Thanks for the assistance.....Tom

Q: Hello guys,
I was hoping you could rate the current buy-ability of these industrial discretionary companies (byd, doo,mg,tt,sis) and of these clothing discretionary companies (goos, lulu, nke, atz) with 10 being a great buy, for new money. Any concerns, and is there anything similar that you like better?

Thanks,

Peter

Q: Good day, I’m thinking with the better exchange rate of late, it would be a good time to buy more US shares inside a tfsa. We are very diversified across all accounts. Looking for some ideas. What are some growth names you would buy today? Already own most big tech, but would have no problem adding to them. Thanks so much as always
