Q: Hi Folks,
I have the above companies in my TFSA all at the same or so weight. I had BYD but sold it when it started to drop. I am still ahead in my sold price as compared to its current price. I am looking to add another or even BYD now that it has settled somewhat, can you give me your suggestion as to what you would add to this lineup - buy back BYD or can you provide some others that I can add. Thank you very much for your suggestions over the years.

Q: Hi 5i Team,
In general I follow 5i Balance Equity Portfolio. Lately, I went through comparing my portfolio to 5i Balance portfolio I found that I have to add the following stocks BDGI,PKI and SHOP and I am under weight on AEM,ATD,ATZ,BAM.A,CCL, ENB,TFII. Can you please advise in order which stock consider a good buy at this time.
Also, Can you please advise good buying stocks from the Growth Portfolio.

But in a decision on Friday afternoon, the Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator (CER) concluded that if long-term contracting were allowed on Mainline, access to the pipeline would change “suddenly and dramatically.” And that, the commission said, meant Western Canadian oil producers “could suffer too many negative consequences.”

Q: Good day. This is a follow up question to a couple of previous questions related to my daughter's TFSA account with a 5+ year hold period, moderate risk with growth and dividend prospects, Based on your responses she holds the companies mentioned in her portfolio. Based on her weightings she has enough cash left to invest in one more equity. She is considering adding either T, TIXT or LNF. Q: My wife and I are retired and rely on dividend income. In the event of a recession, including rising inflation and interest rates and a 20%+ decline in equity markets, how safe/sustainable does 5i view dividends from the named companies? With unrealized gains on all of these, are there any that 5i would suggest selling, accepting the taxable gain, and holding the cash for a rainy day? Thank you. Edward

Q: I have owned Enbridge for a couple years and have done okay with it. Going forward I'm not sure there is much upside beyond the 6% dividend. I'm considering replacing it with a similar stock with the potential for a higher total return. I'm looking at BEP, NPI or AQN.
Would you recommend sticking with Enbridge, switching to one of these stocks or do you have another stock you would prefer?
