Q: I have 8.3% of my portfolio in shares of T and BCE, which have dropped incredibly with the Verizon scare. T is now -17%. BCE has dropped like a stone also, but is an old holding and still +12%. Is it time to buy, hold or sell on T and BCE. And is MBT,which has climbed recently, worth looking at?

Q: Peter & Co.,

2 of my core holdings, BCE and Emereging Markets (PIE-N), have just been getting crushed recently, for very different reasons. Are these sell offs overdone, or is there more pain to come? I consider myself a long term investor, but how much longer can I let these stocks be an anchor to my portfolio?

Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and Team, I recently added to my position in TELUS and BCE, during last week's price weakness. Besides the spectrum debate after industry minister's comments, do you see more downside in these stocks due to ongoing fear of sharp rise in bond yields? I noticed a comment somewhere that AMLP and Utilities/Telcos ETF on US exchange stopped its recent decline, during Friday's rally in US markets. Your comments are most appreciated. Thanks

Q: Hi Peter, I hold BCE in several accounts, and it has done very well. However it is becoming a disproportionately large holding in these accounts, so I wish to sell some in exchange for Telus. Should I wait until Telus has a bit of a pullback, or do the telcos tend to move up and down together and thus it does not really matter. Thank you.
