Q: About 25% of our portfolio is in US stocks - very tech heavy (APPS, CRWD, MSFT, MTTR, NVDA, QCOM, TEAM, U) with only XYL as a non-tech holding. I would like to add GOOG, BKNG but would prefer not to transfer more CD$ to US just at the moment. Would appreciate your thoughts on cashing my XYL (down about 10%) in order to buy GOOG ?
Also, my NVDA and QCOM are at about 4.5% each of total CD/US $ portfolio, with good profit. Would you trim a bit of both to invest in BKNG or leave well enough alone for now !
As always, many thanks.

Q: Happy New Year 5i. I'm looking for an investment in the water space. Would you select an industrial like AQUA or XYL or favour the engineering side with a company like TTEK? Are there any other companies you would suggest in this space?

Q: My portfolio is low on utilities and industrials at the moment. It also needs more US and international exposure. Any suggestions for a few stocks that might be good additions at the moment? They'd be long term holds.

Q: Hi 5i,
I’m in the process of rebalancing my RRSP and TFSA and looking to be greedy while others are fearful.
Specifically moving TD, FTS, T, and LNF to an RRSP so that my TFSA can be growth oriented.
My remaining TFSA positions would be as follows:
- Half Positions: NVEI, EGLX, LSPD, WELL, U, APPS, BAM.A, SIS, DND, BYD, MITK
- Full Positions: GSY, TOI, CRWD, ATZ

I am planning to deploy as follows:
- Complete existing positions: NVEI, LSPD, APPS, U
- New Partial Positions: AT, XYL
- New Full Positions: DOL, SHOP, VEEV, ANRG, ATD, TIXT
Would you swap out anything on this list that would better compliment my existing positions? I have a 10+ year horizon so I’m leaning towards aggressiveness.

Thanks!

Q: I'm lacking in Consumer Defensive, Industrials, and Basic Materials. Please provide some names you like in each of those sectors.

I'd prefer safe income stocks but I'm open to hear a couple growth suggestions.

Q: Please give me your thoughts on ROKU, and whether you see this current price as a buying opportunity, or simply too banged up? Do you feel the price could return back to it’s all time high numbers ?

Also, I currently hold TT, and was wondering which other growth industrial US stock would be a good addition for an RSP? Top 3 picks in order please

Lastly, please rank HD, COSTCO and WMT

Thanks so much

Nick

Q: I plan to contribute some money ($50K) into RRSP and split between CAD and USD stocks. The time horizon is around 5-10 years. But it is always good to see some short term gain. Can you please provide ~ 5 stocks each (currency) to invest?

Thank you,

Q: Hi Peter and Team
Looking for guidance on US holdings in a non registered account. My feeling from following your questions is that the US market would likely do well next year or 2 and that I should not invest 100% in Canada. Can you list 5 US securities that you see as good growth for next 2-3 years holding ?
Thanks for excellent guidance

Q: with the infrastructure bill passing what companies would you recommend as being in the best position to benefit.

Do you feel it might be better to be in infrastructure companies or stay with high growth companies in technologies.

Thank you.
