Q: 2 for 1 questions...

1- What is the average PE for the construction industry as it appears that URI misfortune may be linked to the residential slow down. What is the forward PE for URI?

2- It appears that TD is the most shorted of all banks throught the world according to Bloomberg. That's not a small statement. Having said that, would you buy now or wait for a general bank recovery?
Sorry this makes 3 questions. LOL LOL

Q: With all the volatility we are seeing, I am looking at trading a few stocks so I would like a few suggestions from you. These should be names I wouldn't have a problem holding if the trades don't work out. Both US and Canada. Thank you in advance.

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I’m down on all the above stocks as follows CRWD Down 36%, ETSY down 40%, PINS down 52%, PYPL down 64%, SQ down 72% and U down 77%.

With a 2 to 3 year horizon which of these are worth holding and which once I should sell and can you suggest US replacements and not necessarily in the same asset class. Just good stable companies that have good growth potential to outperform the indexes.

Take as many credits as you feel necessary.

Thanks
Joe

Q: Hello 5i,
I own these four industrial stocks. Could you please rank them for growth?
Do you feel it necessary to own all of them or is it logical to consolidate.
Lastly, are there any US names you would rank higher than these?
Thanks for you insight!

Q: Hi I’m a long term investor, and currently very heavy on Tech. I’m currently searching for a non tech name for an RRSP for a long term hold. I’m more focused on growth as I have time on my hands. Outside of tech, I hold ATZ, HON, BAM, GSY, SQ, COST. Can you please list your top 10 favourite US companies?

Thanks for everything

Q: I am down 20 to 40 % on these equities.
I am considering harvesting a loss and moving to other names in their respective sectors. Please assess by my plan and provide any necessary input.
Swap LULU for CROX
Swap ADBE for CRM
Swap RCII for DKNG - I am less convinced it this third swap.

Thank you

Q: I know that Peter would not characterize himself as as a “Value” investor, but some recent articles have indicated conditions (interest rates, inflation, growth or lack of) may be setting up for an outperformance for value stocks. If that thesis turned out to have validity, can you give me an idea of what your Value Portfolio might look like? If you could choose some from different sectors, and throw in a few US choices, so much the better. Thank you.
