Q: Can I please have your thoughts re this company. It is about 6-7 months that the stock has been pretty flat - not moving much in either direction. I believe that at one time there may have been (and possibly still is) an offer on the table? I am wondering if it is time to move on... Thanks.

Q: Would 5iR consider the following US stocks income or dividend stocks??? - ABBV with (recent) yield of 3.99%, ABT, 1.93%, BLK, 2.14%, NDAQ, 1.57% (as X-T is held in the 5iR Income Portfolio), TT, 1.42% , UNH, 1.40%, HD, 2.7% and LLY, 2.3%

Q: Hi,

I hold VIG and have decided I'd like to instead concentrate my holdings on two stocks: UNH and V. Are there any obvious red flags with these two companies. I know there is no comparison between and ETF and individual stocks. Sector is not a concern.

Q: Sooner than later the US Congress and Senate will have to deal with the US debt ceiling. One option is to cut expenditure for certain categories, like health care or medical expenditures. With this in mind, I searched for revenue from the US Federal Government for each of the health stocks that I hold but with no luck. Did this as I think that if such revenue is cut for such healthcare stocks the price of the stock could decline. Can you estimate such revenue received for each of these stocks - ABBV, ABT, BSX, ISRG, SYK, UNH and ZTS? Or do you know a source for such information? .......Thanks for the assistance.......Tom

Q: I am interested in increasing my Health holdings through the purchase of CDRs. I am considering LLY, UNH, ABBV and PG. I favour LLY but note that it has been on a tear lately. Would you recommend it at these levels? I would appreciate your opinion on these companies. Thank you.

Q: The media occasionally references buying "Dogs of the Dow". Do you know if any comparative analysis has been done of the better Dow stocks which may be termed "Stars of the Dow"? Q: I manage my son's TFSA and have just sold his NVDA shares at a 200% profit. Many thanks for 5i's excellent advice on this purchase! He needs the money next year and I felt - after a good run - it was time to play it safe and cash in. I would now like to reinvest the funds in a less volatile stock - in any sector - that still has reasonable growth prospects over the next year. CSU comes to mind (and I know you're a big fan).
