Q: Do you see the current Coronavirus concern as a potential roadblock for stock prices in general and, in particular, for Lightspeed (lspd) as increased fear could - most likely would - seriously damage the restaurant business. I realize many businesses would be damaged but restaurants are an optional and vulnerable expense. Is the market too complacent towards this spreading danger?
Thanks.

Q: Hi guys, I own the following with the respective total portfolio weightings. My TFSA is all CDN and RRSP is a mix of USD/CDN. When I rebalance, should I try and rebalance with respect to % of TFSA and % of RRSP or rebalance each holding as a percent of overall portfolio? If the latter, I would consolidate some of the holdings in my TFSA to bump up the individual weightings. Are there any obvious adjustments that I should make? I’m heavy on AAPL but have sold so much of it over the years I’m very tempted to let the remaining shares ride.
Please deduct as many credits as you see fit and many thanks for the excellent service you provide. The Q/A is invaluable as are the periodic market summaries. You’ve pulled me away from the panic button many, many times.

Q: I have a 4.5-5% weighting in all of these and they represent my tech holdings. Any need in your opinion to sell any of them in light of world news? Might LSPD as an example feel the impact of fewer restaurant goers? Would you sell any of these based on fundamentals to replace with something you prefer more?

Q: Due to fortunate timing following some great advice (thanks 5I!!) combined with the recent market surge, we find ourselves overweight in Tech. With relatively equal weighting, which of these 7 companies (if any) would you consider selling? In what order?

Q: I started half positions in these company’s last week. Do you think it would be best to buy full positions now or wait for a little pullback?

Q: I hold the above equities. I have additional funds to allocate. Your suggestions please. Take this opportunity to thank Peter for a great job, very reliable.
I would not want to add to my positions in ECN.PR.A , ENB, PNG ,& LSPD because of weighting’s and/or risk.

Q: Hi 5iR team, Many brokerage houses start each New Year by attempting to consolidate their best stock ideas for the year in a comprehensive list.....their Conviction List. I'm wondering if I may ask 51R to do the same? If I was to canvas the 5iR Staff stock experts what would the majority agree on to be your best 5 stock ideas, give or take a few, for 2020? Thanks team. Chris

Q: Good morning. In my TFSA I am down 40% in both TSGI & TOY. What are your thoughts about replacing these with LSPD and GOOS. This would be for a 4-5 year hold.
Thanks, Peter

Q: If LSPD has beat earnings expectations, do you attribute the share price weakness to the fact they raised their potential share offering up to 1 billion dollars? Is this a dilution fear that's causing the share weakness? If so... is the market wanting LSPD to grow organically as opposed to offering shares for aquisitions and such? Not sure what investors expect here?
