Q: In a registered account I own CSU, DND, LSPD, BEP.UN, MG, BYD, TFII, TOI and WSP. FI am looking for 3 new companies for a TFSA. Ideally not a company listed above. Moderate risk and a 10 year outlook.

Thanks in advance!

Q: Hi Team,
Three part question. Firstly, I know as professionals you do not recommend “winners” climbing to over a certain % of ones Portfolio. However, if early investors in Apple or shopify for example would of bailed ; some would not be millionaires now. Or in some cases , billionaires where the CEO’s are holding most their wealth in their company stock. How can one hope to land that “life changing trade”(1000% or more) if one keeps trimming eternal winners ? Does it not make sense if a person finds that “winning company” to keep holding of goals are set high?

Secondly..is GSY one of those stocks, if you were to choose the likelihood of a solid company with good prospects, to choose to be overweight in and aim for that life changing 1000% move over a 10 yr or so period? I ask this company specifically because I am overweight this company and this is my goal. (Up over 200% so far and metrics still make this stock look cheap to me)

Thirdly… if you were to speculate a few different companies, either US or Cnd as your “best guess’s” so to speak of having the likelihood of producing 1000% gains over the next 10yrs or so; what would they be? Thanks for your input and deduct credits as you see fit. Thanks

Q: I do not have technology shares in my RRSP. I'm well covered in energy, financials, utilities, transportation, tel coms and an ETF US equities. There are quite a few techno companies out there. For a long term investment, any suggestions and why.

Q: Hi Guys,

These two companies, are quite similar in terms of total market cap, and both are in payment processing sector. are they overlap with each other or serve different industries? Could you help me to understand them? How would you rank them over all, future growth, and risk/reward, respectively. If to buy now, which one to start with? or divide the funds to buy both at the same time. Thanks.

Q: My KXS shares have recently doubled and haVE exceeded my arbitrary 5% holdings threshold . I have a long term view of my tech holdings but wondered if you think selling off some KXS for Topicus or LSPD (or both) is worthwhile for some added growth for the next 5 years?
I am not adverse to holding onto to KXS if you think it could revisit its historical high in the next 12 months.
Some shares are in a TFSA and some in a registered account.

Thank you for your continued support.

Q: How would you characterize and rank the respective valuations and growth potentials for these 4 companies? Other suggestions for growth and diversification in an otherwise pipeline, bank, insurance company and telecomm-heavy retirement portfolio?

Q: Hi Team,
I was looking at buying some NVEI. However, I am already heavy tech in general. If I were to buy some shares I would need to sell something to do this. The stocks that I already hold that would consider trimming to buy shares in NVEI would be: LSPD, WELL, SQ, MITK. Do you consider NVEI as having more long term potential than any of the other 4 mentioned? If so, which one of the 4 would you recommend trimming to buy some NVEI? Thanks

Q: I'm really overweight in IT. Close to 35% but I need to get down to 20% or less. IT holdings are: KXS (3.1%); SHOP (16.9%); CSU (5.2%); TOI (0.4%); DND (0.2%); LSPD (2.0%); SYZ (1.4%); PHO (1.0%); CRWD (2%); NVDA (0.7%); DOCU (1.5%).

Not sure if it makes a difference but all are in TFSA except KXS, CRWD and DOCU (cash/margin account). Due to the fact that I'm working I don't want to trigger any taxable gains if possible. Obviously I need to trim SHOP by at least 1/2.

SYZ seems to be a laggard since it has only appreciated 45% in almost 7 years so I think I should sell that. Do you agree? (assuming a balanced portfolio).

Aren't DND and PHO going to be purchased?

I'm emotionally attached to the high gains otherwise... What's your suggestion on how to bring down my IT holdings in a tax efficient way?

Q: HI

Thinking of selling my LSPD in my RRSP (358 Shares) and buying NVDA.

I also own XIT (1,000) shares in my RRSP.

This way I get more US stocks.

Your comments please.

Thank you

Mike

Q: I currently hold the following in my TFSA: ENB, EGLX, LSPD, PLTR, SUGR, TIXT, TOI.
I propose to reduce LSPD from eight to six percent, use the proceeds to increase TOI from one to three percent
of my total portfolio and recapture my principal investment in LSPD. From a risk/reward and diversification move does this proposal appear, on the face of it, to be a reasonable change to make

Thank you for considering my question

Q: As a 20 year-old, can you suggest 6 high risk/high reward Canadian or US stocks for part of my investments (I would look to buy on dips)? Would you recommend a portion invested in cryptocurrencies or is this just really gambling with the high volatility? I have a 5-year time line.
Thank you!!
