Q: Hate to admit I averaged down on this, but it salvaged a bit of a return….wait longer or sell and move on?

Q: These are my biggest losers across my accounts. What are their prospects? Are any worth keeping, or is just time to move on? I don’t mind some risk, but don’t want to hold the hopeless ones any longer.

Q: Would you consider Newell Brands a buy at these levels or is it a value trap?
Q: Unfortunately I bought NWL a couple of months ago and it just keeps tracking down. Is it headed for zero? What are the factors involved in a potential recovery? Just sell and lick my wounds?

Q: Wow NWL was really taken out behind the wood shed today on the news of planning a strategic review of company options.I thought this was generally viewed as a positive news.Could this be a great buying opportunity your thoughts on the news and company thanks
Q: Hey Peter,
Looking at taking a large position in NWL. I feel like this stock has taken a hit due to a poorly executed merger (Newell Brands + Rubbermaid). I feel like the stock is likely to take a bath in Q4 report another bad quarter. Thereafter, I feel like the pressure will be on Michael Polk to drive results or else he'll be out. What are your thoughts on this company stock and this industry as a whole?
Thanks!

Q: The correction in this stock (RE: Toys R Us bankruptcy) is quite startling. The last conference call was optimistically projecting a recovery. This is a large, experienced manufacturer of many popular brands which lost 50% of its value in 4 months. Is this punishment justified and is it a good investment right now?

Q: I wish I had taken you more seriously in September when you said that Newell is "in general is not a company we would be overly interested in."
Now, based on your recent comments, and it's disaster quarterly report, I am ready to sell and lick my wounds. Would you agree?
Can you give a couple of suggestions for replacement in the consumer goods or health care space. I am looking for growth alone or growth plus income.
Thanks in advance for your great advice.

Q: I have a half position in NWL, was waiting for results before adding the other half. They missed earnings and the stock is being punished today, down 25%. Do you think this is overdone and a good opportunity to add or is there something I'm missing and I should stay away? Greatly appreciate your service, thank you.
Q: Can you please comment on today's earnings release ? How does a blue chip, consumer staples company fall 25% in one day?
What is your outlook for the stock?
I hold a 2.5 % position (3.5% before today). I'm a patient investor. What do you suggest I do?
Thank you for your much appreciated advice.

Q: NWL has declined sharply in recent weeks due to (1) Hurricane Harvey on its U.S. manufactured resin businesses, and (2) bankruptcy proceeding of Toys R Us, which NWL is one of their top suppliers. NWL has issued revised 2017 guidance due to the impact of Harvey but, in my opinion, it's not material. Is the selloff overblown? Is it a good entry point now, or is it catching a falling knife? Welcome your thoughts. Thank you.
Q: I was wondering if you could add anything to my understanding of this company whose share price has stagnated over the past year. The takeover of Jarden was well received by analysts and the quarterly results afterward seemed to suggest things were progressing well. A number of analysts recommend the stock so is it just range bound at this time for no particular reason or is there something else at play?
Appreciate your insight.

Q: I have to raise some cash in my non registered account. Please rank (with some reasoning) the named companies from most desirable to least desirable . I will likely have to sell 2 of them.
Thanks once again RAM

Q: Hi team, in the consumer defensive space, for growth and some yield, what would your thoughs be on NWL. Would P&G be a better choice.
