Q: In your answer to Judith today, you identified four outstanding Canadian stocks that may develop, over time, to be as good as LMN. Could you identify 4-5 US stocks that have similar characteristics?

Q: In watching BNN the other night, in talking about Constellation Software, Brian Madden mentioned that his fund has recently bought into what they view as a US based equivalent company. Unfortunately, much to my disappointment, he didn't mention who the company was. This did get me to wondering what (if any), US based companies you would recommend that are Constellation Software like and would he have perhaps have been referring to LMN?
Thank you again for the fabulous service!

Q: Aerospace service, repairs, parts and maintenance for existing airline fleets is a likely growth area for many years as the ability of airplane manufacturers to satisfy market needs is hampered. Can you offer 3 or 4 of the larger companies in this area likely to benefit from this growth, provide some direction as to current valuation, level of debt, insider ownership, share buyback activity and provide a single recommendation that is your pick for best of breed in this area. Finally would you buy that pick at the current share price for a 3 year hold. Love the question and looking forward to your answer!!! Thank you.

Q: Hi Peter and 5iresearch team:
In your answer to Gerry's question on Feb 16, you mentioned that CSU and ATB have been the best Canadian compounders over the last ten years. You added DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI based on historical performance and you are expecting LMN.V, TVK, HPS.A, TOI, GSY to be potential Canadian compounders in the future.

1. Would YOU still invest in CSU, ATB, DOL, BYD, TFII, BN, CLL.B, TRI with the same conviction and weighting?
2. Could you please provide a similar answer but for the US market? Please provide 10 or so best US compounders based on historical performance that YOU think investors should keep investing in and 5 or so US companies that YOU would buy as potential US compounders in the future.

Thank you for the great service.

Q: I'd like to increase investments in industrial, consumer discretion and consumer staples and also increase U.S. holdings.
I'm considering Amazon and COST for consumer names - are there other U.S. names you would recommend in these sectors and please suggest a U.S. industrial as well.

Q: I hold ROP HEI WSP ATS TFII AXON VRT in the industrial sector. 5i has also recommended TT TDG RTX and URI. I would like to sort out which could be sold [in whole or in part] and which could be added to. For a long-term hold, which could go and which would you advise to be the core for this sector.
Thanks

Q: Hi,

These are some names that I hold that are smaller weights in my portfolio (<2%) and I would like to add to my positions. From comments, I think all of them are solid going forward and some have run hard, such as HPS.A, TVK, CRWD...The thing I've struggled with before is adding to names at the wrong time after they've had a good run and then the market turns and your gains turn into losses. How do you approach these situations and when do you decide to add to a starter position.

Would you be comfortable adding to any of these names at the current prices and can you rank which ones you would add to first?

With the market at record levels, I'm a bit more gun shy of doing so but I think on any market pullback, I would add to any of these names. Would you agree?

I remember a question you answered recently about increasing the avg. cost base vs the % of the position when adding. So for example, I bought HPS.A at $50 and now its $93 for a nice gain, however it's only 1.5% of my portfolio now. So if you are comfortable with a 3% position, do I just add now to get to that 3% even with the run that its had? Or wait for a nice pullback, which of course is impossible to predict. I try not to anchor prices and of course the buyers today are forward looking and expect good things to continue. How do you approach this? Thanks!

Q: I was interested in your reply to Ronnie today (14th) on U.S. growth suggestions. As individual securities you suggested IBKR, LPLA, CELH, CROX, DUOL. If I was to add HEI, ADI and ULTA to that list could you rank all 8 for say 5 yr pure growth potential and then re-rank if one was seeking a balance of both growth and safety? Thank you.

Q: Industrials 12% target allocation - what allocation do you advise? I have Full positions in WSP VRT and Partial Positions in ATS TFII HEI and AXON. Based on your advice, I would also like to have positions in URI HON TRI TIH HPS.A. Need to sort out what to own as Full and partial positions. Please rank for full and partial positions with entry prices for those not owned and what to drop from this list. I have a bias for serial acquierers along the lines of CSU.

Q: Hello 5i Team,

Could you please suggest 20 Canadian and/or U.S. stocks for a "buy and hold" portfolio in an RRSP with average-to-above-average risk and a 5+ year timeframe.

Feel free to subtract as many credits as you see fit.

Thanks in advance for your always helpful advice!

Q: My wife took early retirement with DB plan. Her RRSP and TFSA are well diversified. She has enough money to invest in about 10 companies. This money is not needed in foreseeable future. However, a small dividend is appreciated along with capital appreciation. It will be invested in a regular account. Can you please suggest top 12 companies.

Thanks inadvance
