My question is on Canadian on small/mid caps, I've listed a few just to start with. Given the current environment what would be your ten highest conviction picks. I plan to hold for atleast 5 years, so I'm after safe business models that have a high chance of survival. My Taxable Account is CAN only 3 months old. I'm lucky enough to restructure my entire portfolio these past few months for some optimization.

The goal outperformance of XIC. Large and midcap growth primarily. Core moat players as well. I'm shifting back to a more concentrated stock portfolio.

I add underperformers and cyclicals for boosts outside of my core. ie: NTR, TD, LUG
thus far this year.
Core by weight;
CSU, TFII
DOL, DSG, SHOP, WSP
BN, CNQ, STN, CLS, TRI
TVK.

Outside of materials, gold; no retail; no reits. If this was you. Do you add a company that doesn't meet your growth expectation/debt/cash flow etc for balance ie ENB.
Or add to your current.

Looking for your sage advice as well as 2 potential core additions or adds and 2 other high conviction torque. No parameters.

Q: Hi again. This is the question I tried asking last night and kept receiving a note for a Server Error.
I added in my contribution to my TFSA yesterday. I was thinking of adding in.a new position in ZDC or topping up 2 of the other names. If you suggest adding to 2 of the above, what would your 2 top choices be and why?

In the US, where would you go for the Santa rally? Would it be momentum stocks? Undervalued? Specific sectors -Industrials, AI related? or Crypto?
I am thinking crypto - the backers of the new govt. Add dollar tariffs to the mix. Crypto heads higher.
How would you play the Canadian market end of the year? I am going to dabble in short term trading this year.

Q: Comparing a 5 year chart of GLXY to the price of Bitcoin, there is a noticable correlation it seems to me which on one hand makes perfect sense, on the other hand as the company matures and the space they are in is growing exponetially, I wonder why the stock isnt outperforming? I'm wrestling with " pigs get slaughtered" against "you dont get rich selling after a 100% gain".

Q: GLXY trades on the TSX yet is headquartered in NY, how does that work?
I sold half my bitcoin position and plan to replace with GLXY at some point, what would you consider a good entry point/price?

Q: With the runup in bitcoin to $100K, do you think there's more potential in etherium and if so, what would be the best ways to play it?

Q: I own both Riot and Galaxy and have thought of closing my position in RIOT and deploying that cash to buy into Galaxy. Your thoughts on why this may be a sensible move -- or why it might not be, and to maintain the status quo. Thank you.
