Q: hi,
what are your current top 5 stocks to BUY today from the growth portfolio ( in TFSA ).

Q: Hi 5i,
I know galaxy in the growth portfolio has done very well. Does the roughly 7 % weighting reflect the weight after the "sale" of shares?
Also, can you confirm that there is a lock up ending around November 26 th, and what kind of a movement could that have on the shares? i.e. how many shares MAY come to market after that date? Are there any other lock up date expirations in 2025?
At this stage in the market, how would you compare the potential growth prospects of x and glxy? which has more of a moat?

Q: Hello
Just looking at the financials for GLXY and wondering why the stock has risen. Sales are zero, other income is 135M, EBITA has never been positive, net income way down from last year, OPS way down from last year, Operating cash flow is negative, negative free cash flow forever so why is the stock going up the way it has?
PE is 250, operating margins are negative.

Am I missing something here?

Q: Help calm me down ! This stock has exploded and it’s in my TFSA ! Thank you, thank you.
With sugar plums dancing in my head I fear my
rational investment thinking has gone out the window but here it goes : GLXY it’s now 35 % of my TFSA and my TFSA is 5% of total investments ( banks, utilities etc )so it is roughly 1.5 - 2 % of total. The company has its toes in crypto and data centres, two of the hot themes of today, and seems well managed but I have been burnt before ( EGLX , TV. ) because of not knowing when to sell. I suppose position size, change in fundamentals, and valuation would be factors in making a decision. And if you sell, I should too, but until then hold on ?

Q: Hello 5i,

There is a lot of noise about Stablecoins, gold, US debt reduction and opportunities in crypto coins to take advantage of servicing transactions. IF Stablecoins are rolled out by the US gov't, how will this affect GLXY?

Do you have Crypto suggestions if Stablecoins are backed by the US gov't? Most of this is above our heads but Trump knows how to go bankrupt and make a fortune.

Q: Got my first 10 bagger today!! Thank you to everyone at 5i bringing us such good stock ideas and portfolio analysis. Thought Nvidia was going to be my 10 bagger but Galaxy Digital has been on a tear and takes the prize. Now that I have to trim them both(again) what stocks might be worth looking at in Communication services(US or Canadian) as I am presently low in that sector.

Q: Recently, the tech market has been booming. During this period, I bought several volatile, high-flying stocks to capture the thrill of the momentum. Each position is relatively small—only about 0.5% to 1% of my portfolio. Despite that, they’re performing exceptionally well. Q: Can I get your updated view and opinion on SBET. I have a small position and down 15% and would like to add more. Already own a good sized position in GLXY which has done very well. I understand the volatility and risks in crypto. Can you comment on this recent news of SBET increasing their share offering and also the plan of tokenizing their stock.
