Q: I'm aware of the decision to dispose of their oil & gas holdings and coupled with the market sentiment, resulting in a substantial price drop. With that drop the dividend yield has increased substantially. My questions are regarding the dividend.
1) Did they also announce anything regarding the dividend (i.e., are they cutting it)?
2) If no announcements, is it sustainable at current levels?
3) If there were no announcements and it's sustainable, does that not signal to the market the high probability of price appreciation back to a more normal dividend yield resulting in an opportune time for a short-term trade or a long-term investment?
Thank you.
