Q: Morning... you mentioned XYL as on of your 4 favourite industrials. Could you update the other 3 for us.

Where would BA fit? Would you consider it a buy? Why or why not...

thanks, Mark

Q: Hello Peter and team;

I would appreciate your opinion on Cleveland Cliffs in particular and the outlook for steel industry in general. I already own Reliance Steel and cannot decide if I should increase my exposure to the industry; and if I do then diversify with CLF or double down on RS. I know you like RS but would be interested in knowing your opinion of CLF relative to RS as well.
Have an exposure through the coking coal space as well(SXC). If you are bullish on the sector, what would be your limit on sector exposure?

Q: According to my portfolio analysis, I need to increase my US & international exposure. I am underweight in materials, real estate, communication services and utilities. Could you suggest 2-3 of your favourites US stocks for each of these 4 sectors? I greatly appreciate all the good advice I received from being a member of 5iResearch.

Q: Hello Peter,

We are seeking advice on how to play the infastructure game now that Biden confirmed on Sunday that it is a stand-alone deal. We are light on Steel, Industrials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Transportation, Materials, and 5G. We have some green energy with BEP.UN & AQN. We will reshuffle the deck by reducing Tech stocks to accommodate the shift.

Can you rank the following stocks in the categories 1st to last and add any other stocks that may be a better choice than those listed
Steel: RS, NUE, SCHN
Industrials: DD, HON (+ any other suggestions)
Aerospace: LMT, BA
Transportation: WSP, TFII, UNP, CNR, CP (+ any other suggestions)
Materials: CX (+ any other suggestions)
Manufacturing: (suggestions please)
5G: MRVL, ERIC

My last question is ask your opinion of the top 8 stocks (please rank) for the infastructure deal regardless of the sector.

Thank you for your great service.

Debbie and Jerry

Q: Hi Awesome 5i team, I have some cash to invest, in Canada, I am thinking of "AT", "GSY" &"CTS", some of these names are at all time high, could you please rank them from risk/growth perspective. Given recent volatility of the market, could you please provide a good entry point if you will.

For US, please also provide three names that are growth oriented, and three reflationary driven. All are for long term investment.

Thanks,

Q: I am rebalancing and need to add Material equities to my portfolio. Currently my only holding in that sector is MX:CA. Materials will represent 13% of the portfolio equal to my energy allotment. Generally speaking should I dispose of MX (because it is more or less energy focused)and start from scratch for sector investment? Can you provide some guidance on companies to check out? I have a 3-5 year horizon and like dividends.

Q: On CNBC on Friday Tom Lee disclosed these 20 as his "Epicentre Stock Portfolio" and opined that the bottom is in. He seems to be quite revered and apparently his calls have been more correct than not. Could you list your best seven from this list that you would buy today in order. Any other comment of course welcomed as well - Ken

Q: Hi Team,
I was looking for a list of a few company's that appear to be strong buys today (Your fav picks), that are poised to continue to work in this so called "inflationary period" (non tech). Both US and cnd names. Thanks

Q: Good day, I’m thinking with the better exchange rate of late, it would be a good time to buy more US shares inside a tfsa. We are very diversified across all accounts. Looking for some ideas. What are some growth names you would buy today? Already own most big tech, but would have no problem adding to them. Thanks so much as always

Q: What is your view on commodity prices relative to the recovery from the pandemic and/or the global efforts to curb carbon omissions? Is the demand outpacing supply and if so what are the companies or ETF's to hold over the coming years? Is there any particular metals that one should focus on?
