US Healthcare: ABT or MRK
US Real Estate: CCI or AMT
US Industrial: HON or UTX.

Q: I have HON for 5 years now. I just bought some UTX because of the merger and the spinoffs added value potential. Could I have your thoughts on both these companies for the next year and for the next 5 years to help me decide if I keep both or move all the money to one stock.
Q: Looking to add another US industrial - i already own UTX and WM so looking to round this out. They seem to be a well run, consistent company. Is this a good entry point for a long term hold?
Thanks

Q: Which do you think will have better growth over the next few years?

Q: I hold Ratheon and Honeywell. Would you recommend selling these for a new holding in Boeing?
Q: I bought some shares in Honeywell back in January and I have noticed recently 2 new stocks that have appeared in my investment account: GTX (Garret Motion) and REZI (Resideo Technologies) which apparently are spin-offs from HON. Are you able to provide any comments on these 2 new companies? I'm inclined to just sell them (small number of shares). Thanks.
Q: I would like to initiate a position in HON before spin-off. What do you think of the company? Thanks.

Q: I am thinking of buying the Swiss industrial company ABB inside my RRIF. It trades as an ADR in New York. I already own UTX and consider HON to be overvalued. I am currently underweight industrials. If you don’t like ABB, what would be your favourite large cap industrial? Doe you know what the tax implications would be for holding ABB in my RRIF - would there be withholding taxes because it is a Swiss company? I seem to recall reading somewhere that Swiss withholding taxes are 30%. Thanks for any info. you can give me.

Q: US STOCKS - GE AND K - HITTING LOWS - DO YOU SEE VALUE IN HERE AND IS IT OK TO ADD. OR YOU WOULD PREFER IN STRENGTH - HON AND GILD WITH THEIR RECENT DEVELOPMENTS. SAFETY AND INCOME AND SHARE PRICE APPRECIATION, IS GOAL.

Q: Hello, I have just read "Why It’s Almost Impossible to be a Passive Investor in Canada" by Ryan, very informative article. I realize that my portfolio is underweight in the industrials sector. Could you suggest 3 or 4 names in Canada and in the US respectively? I am looking for good mid or big cap companies with growing dividend if possible. This is for long term investment. Regards, Gervais
Q: Hello Folks:
What are your thoughts on Johnson Controls and Honeywell? I have owned JCI (which hasn't done much) for some time. Is a switch to Honeywell warranted? Are there better options in this sector?
Thanks once more!

Q: Hello Folks: I have owned JCI for a few years which has not accomplished much. Would a switch into MMM or HON be worthwhile or should I stay put. Thank you

Q: Which one of these large industrials would you choose to be in your portfolio at this time ? Am I over diversifying if I selected two of them?
Q: There has been discussion of the concept of using BRK.B as a low-cost alternative to a US-equity mutual fund. Continuing that theme, are there other companies that take direct ownership in multiple businesses and then issue shares/units for purchase by the public? Can you list some please. Do you recommend any?
Cheers,
