Q: Please rank the above listed stocks and an explanation for #1? I am more focussed on growth as I have a significant time horizon. Also, which account is preferred for the following? Tfsa or rrsp?

Also these are currently my holdings in my tfsa. Would you sell one of the following for one of the above listed stock, or wait for new money? Thanks

Nick

Q: Good evening,

I’m looking to increase my stock holdings in the industrial sector. I currently own HON at 3% and have a small position in XBC (due to recent declines). I’d like to add 3 long-term stocks and have identified the following as options: CNR, WSP or J, TFII, XYL, ATA, ROP. I can accept higher risk and would like companies that are leaders or doing something new/innovative in their area. I was also thinking of diversifying within the industrial sector. I’m wondering what 3 additions you’d pick at this time, either from my list above or others that I may have missed? I’m also wondering whether I should add to XBC at this point?

Thank you for great this service!

Q: Hello Peter,

We are seeking advice on how to play the infastructure game now that Biden confirmed on Sunday that it is a stand-alone deal. We are light on Steel, Industrials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Transportation, Materials, and 5G. We have some green energy with BEP.UN & AQN. We will reshuffle the deck by reducing Tech stocks to accommodate the shift.

Can you rank the following stocks in the categories 1st to last and add any other stocks that may be a better choice than those listed
Steel: RS, NUE, SCHN
Industrials: DD, HON (+ any other suggestions)
Aerospace: LMT, BA
Transportation: WSP, TFII, UNP, CNR, CP (+ any other suggestions)
Materials: CX (+ any other suggestions)
Manufacturing: (suggestions please)
5G: MRVL, ERIC

My last question is ask your opinion of the top 8 stocks (please rank) for the infastructure deal regardless of the sector.

Thank you for your great service.

Debbie and Jerry

Q: Hi team,

I'm interested in adding two defense companies to my holdings, for a 3-5 year period (perhaps longer) and I'm interested to know which companies you would recommend considering?
The companies that I'm looking at right now include LMT, NOC, RTX, GM, BA, HON. Are there other companies I should also be looking at?
Could you please rank the listed companies in order of preference?

Thank you for all that you do!

Q: Significant infrastructure is being planned in the U.S., also in the defense sector. Would any of these stocks listed (or others) benefit more or less from this initiative?
Thank you for your insights!

Q: Among these three companies, which would be your objective choice realizing that TT seems to be favored. But have the other two similar potential?
Thank you, Team
(My trading portfolio return was the highest ever last year, thanks to your excellent recommendations!)

Q: HON has done reasonably well and now seems fully valued. CFRA has a sell rating on it and RBC-DI lowered its its opinion on HON’s share price appreciation in November. Would you sell HON, and if yes, why please? Please ignore tax impact. If you would hold, why please? If you would sell, would you replace with another US industrial and if yes, which one(s), given the generally toppy valuations today.

Q: As an income investor with some growth, I have some US money unused in our TFSA accounts. Could you give me some suggestions on US stocks you feel still have good valuations. I am lower in Tech, Consumer and industrial sectors.
Thanks so much!

Q: hello 5i:favou
we own the above Industrials. I'd like to add another US stock. Can you suggest 3 of your favourites please, that would diversify within this sector a bit (and why you favour them).
thanks

Q: Hey guys,

My health care and industrial sectors are on the low side (under 10%), please provide the top 3 plays (Canadian or American) in each sector. These picks would be going into a "balance" type portfolio.
Thanks
Jim

Q: Portfolio Analytics indicates I am over allocated and perhaps over diversified in Financials: BAM.A 2%, BNS 2%, TD 4%, X 2%, BRK.B 4%, MA 6% and Industrials: CCL.B 1%, CNR 4%, NFI 1%, FDX 3%, HON 3%, LMT 6%.
Which positions would you recommend trimming or eliminating?

Q: I have these equities in my US Margin Account. I would like to raise some additional cash ... just in case. Which of above would you trim first. Are there any which should be sold for a tax loss if possible such as CRM and ISRG, where I am slightly negativ.
Thanks for your answer

Q: I read an article that suggest that the US has essentially moved the FED's role to the Treasury Dept, thereby giving control (more at least) to the Trump admin. First, do you see this as the case, and second, if they were to devalue the US dollar as Trump has often called for to better compete with the world, and this brought structural support to the political move away from China and ROTW imports and boosted a reemergence of the US manufacturing/supply-chain system, what companies would look like a steal today ten years from now?

Q: Hello,
I am currently waiting out this deep downturn in the market. At some point the market will start recovering. I have followed your recommendations in the Portfolio Tracking and Analysis tool.

If you had $500,000 sitting in cash which you want to deploy once the market turns around, which sectors would you look towards investing in for the eventual upward trend? Would you be able to provide your favourite stocks /ETFS which you would use to cover the sectors you think will be first to recover?

Thanks for all your help.
