Q: I recently took over a portfolio of mine managed by a regular at BNN with so so results. Five of the worst performers I would like to know if any of them have a chance of recovery within the next year,
BDX - Cost 280.1
FDX - Cost 274.9
FRU - Cost 15.00
ORCL - Cost 62.3
XLP - Cost 72.6
Thanks for making me confident to take over something like this on my own. Dennis

Q: Morning 5i
I know Amazon has caused some downward pressure on FDX and UPS of late but I'm thinking if Amazon gets into this business it will likely take years in developing the logistics and infrastructure meaning that FDX and UPS will have to be relied upon for at least several more years .As an essential service they're businesses should still thrive still with solid earnings . Both stocks seem to be doing ok recently as well .
Would you have any issues in investing in either of these two stocks at this time .
Thanks
Bill C

Q: I would like to get your thoughts on the latest news that Amazon is looking at the possibility of doing their own shipping and how this may affect Fedex. Should I continue to hold onto my Fedex shares (down slightly) or is this a good time to move on to something else? Maybe Amazon given that they are currently down?
Thanks!

Q: Hi there,

I am looking to add a company in transportation to my portfolio. On all metrics TFII seems cheaper on a valuation basis than the others. Any reasons you would prefer my other options and why?

Q: Canada Post can't handle the number of boxes from on line sales. It will get worse as more retailers go on line. Good for FDX and UPS. Can they handle the huge increase coming in years to come. Are they both a BUY ?
Any Companies that benefit from all the empty boxes that will need to be recycled ?
Who are major box manufactures in USA & Canada. Transcontinental ? RAK

Q: Is Cargojet a possible beneficiary in the expansion/growth of Amazon ?
Are there other Canadian companies in the transportation / logistical /distribution sectors that might also benefit from Amazon's success?
