Q: This period of seasonal weakness is a great time for some early Christmas shopping. I sold a part position in NVO a while ago and am looking to reinvest proceeds to increase my health care holdings.

Considering current valuations, what would you recommend as a good complement to expand and diversify?

Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi 5i,

I found the Q&A about Envista this morning very interesting. With the Veralto spinoff that is happening with DHR, do you think that Veralto will have the same low/no growth issues? I think DHR is trying to do the same again by keeping the higher growth assets and spinning off the lower growth ones. Would you hang on the the new shares when received or would you sell and maybe put back into DHR instead? TIA!

Q: I always kick myself when I come to realize a missed opportunity and tell myself that next time, i'll recognize the trend and take advantage of it.

This is me asking that question now.

What 5 US and 5 CDN positions, in your opinion are very much out of favour right now but have quality fundamentals with an excellent chance for share appreciation over the next 3 years?

Q: As I'm sure you're aware, this is a name that has been drifting steadily lower since it ranked on its disappointing latest earnings release. Do you think it remains a premier us drug manufacturer worth holding or would you recommend redeploying the capital into another name?

Q: I thought that I had asked this question before, but I went through 6 web pages of "My Questions" and came up empty.

What would you say is the "most" CSU-like stock in the US? Thanks again!

Q: I think I may have timed out before submitting this question earlier.

I wanted to know your views on swapping DHR for ISRG in my health care allocation, which currently includes SYK and WELL. I know you like ISRG today, perhaps more than you did a couple of years ago when you had concerns about their business in China. Is China a significant part of their business? And your DHR concerns seem centred on their higher levels of debt which are being paid down.

I have done well with DHR but I am wondering if ISRG's growth profile is considered higher without taking on a significant increase in risk. Or would one of my other holdings be a better swap? Or is "do nothing" the best course?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hello,

I'm looking to buy 4 or 5 US medical stocks for a long-term hold (5+ years) with an above-average level of risk tolerance.

Could you please rank the stocks I've listed, and indicate if there are better choices.

Thank you!

Q: With the backdrop of global warming and water likely becoming a more valued resource (see Columbia River article on CNN), are there any companies that over the long term (5-10 years) may see strong growth as a result?
