Q: Hello Peter,
We are seeking advice on how to play the infastructure game now that Biden confirmed on Sunday that it is a stand-alone deal. We are light on Steel, Industrials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Transportation, Materials, and 5G. We have some green energy with BEP.UN & AQN. We will reshuffle the deck by reducing Tech stocks to accommodate the shift.
Can you rank the following stocks in the categories 1st to last and add any other stocks that may be a better choice than those listed
Steel: RS, NUE, SCHN
Industrials: DD, HON (+ any other suggestions)
Aerospace: LMT, BA
Transportation: WSP, TFII, UNP, CNR, CP (+ any other suggestions)
Materials: CX (+ any other suggestions)
Manufacturing: (suggestions please)
5G: MRVL, ERIC
My last question is ask your opinion of the top 8 stocks (please rank) for the infastructure deal regardless of the sector.
Thank you for your great service.

Q: What is the future of Dupont? The company did acquisitions then merger then sold some business and finally split in three but company never grew? Your suggestions. Should I switch to DOW-N which I got when DWDP (DowDupont) split or APD-N which is betting on new $7-bil Hydrogen plant project?
Q: I owned Dowdupont and in the spinout of 2019 received shares of DOW, DD and CTVA. I originally purchased the stock with the belief that the spinout would unlock the potential of each entity......ie the sum of the parts was worth more than the whole. So far, after 2 years that thesis has not played out. CTVA (the smallest of the spinouts) has performed well, DOW has been relatively flat and DD (the largest of the spinouts) has been a dog. Can you please comment on each holding and tell me if they were in your portfolio which ones are worth holding, which are best to let go and most importantly why.
Thanks for your guidance and wisdom

Q: Hi, I put away some extra cash into my RRSP before March 1 and unsure where to put the funds. I'm thinking of adding to my holdings in each of the following stocks. I have less than a full position in each, except for DIV and NWH where I have a full position at this time. Generally want to put funds into something not too risky, but not just top up my existing ETF holdings (which I generally do if I don't have a better idea where to put the money).
Thanks
Michael

Q: I would like to have a little fun with this question. Imagine a boxing match between Canadian companies and American companies...each round is represented by a sector so lets say it is a fight gone bad and there are extra rounds covering 11 sectors. Please pick a favourite Canadian Contender and a strong American contender for each round and who wins the round. Example Round 10 Technology Red corner Constellation Software vs Blue corner Microsoft. Won by Microsoft or Constellation Software. The rules...If you wish to give reasons why the round went one way or another, it's your choice. A good clean fight use the criteria of your investment strategies. The point...I am curious if the Canadian Companies stack up and in what areas I should be looking at South of the border. Thank you
Q: I owned Dow stock before it split into 3 separate companies and now I own shares in all 3. I've kept the shareholders and haven't touched them since the split. Do you prefer one of these companies over any others? I plan to add to this position (which is now 3 stocks instead of one). I am unsure if I should add to all 3, or pick the 'best' one. Can you offer some insight?

Q: How would someone find a list of companies that have been around since the early 1900's (have gone through the depression, wars, hyper inflation etc) and never cut or suspended their dividend? Would those same companies be theoretically safe and follow the same history if we end up in a prolonged recession/depression now?
Q: Hello,
Due to spin offs in the past couple of years, I have ended up with equal shares of CTVA, DOW, and DD. Would it be a good idea to sell one or two of them and just hold one? If so, which one?
Thank you,
Dorthy

Q: Hi 5i,
Do you think these companies are good for growth? If so, would you buy before or after the merger? Do you have the details on the new shares for holders after the merger? I am looking specifically at them for their ag businesses.
Thanks in advance!

Q: DD
DD wireless. there is an offer on the table for 2.25 from the majority owner. Looks good if not opportunistic. their quaterly result show a 10 cent profit per share, if we annualise this it makes for a very low P/E. is there any hope of better offer, or can keep my marbles in a good company. do the owner has a lot weight to bulldoze the minotity shareholders out at a good valuation for himself?
Thanks

Q: Peter. Digital Dispatch (DD). Trading below book, pays a dividend - but has seem some challenges. Going forward the recurring business model has to kick in to create certainty in the cash flow and improve the valuation. Thoughts ?
