Q: Hi,
Canada, and other countries, are apparently going to reinforce considerably their investment in defense. In that perspective which of the above companies do you consider, in order most promising for strong growth in the next five years ? And which one would you buy for a good diversification within the sector ? Any other companies not mentionned ?
Gratefully,
Jacques IDS

Q: Given today's world politics, what are your views of defense stocks, both European and North American examples: AIRBUS, NOC, BA and European contractors etc?
Thank you again for your terrific service

Q: I've held Lockheed Martin (LMT) for 11 years and enjoyed a solid return of nearly 14% per annum, largely driven by the success of the global F-35 program, which has been a cornerstone of LMT’s revenue and earnings growth. However, with today’s announcement that Boeing has won the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter jet contract—potentially worth over $20 billion initially and hundreds of billions over its lifetime—I’m concerned about the impact on LMT’s future growth and outlook. The loss of this high-profile sixth-generation fighter program to a competitor could signal a shift in market dynamics, especially given LMT’s historical dominance in advanced fighter jets. How do you assess the implications of this decision for LMT’s long-term growth trajectory, particularly in terms of its Aeronautics division and overall market position? I’m considering selling my position due to this turn of events, though it would mean realizing a significant capital gain in my taxable account, and I’d likely reinvest in another aerospace and defense industrial, such as Northrop Grumman or even Boeing itself. Could you share your analysis of how this contract loss might affect LMT’s valuation and growth prospects, and offer your thoughts on whether selling now and reallocating makes sense for an investor like me seeking both growth and stability?I'm a retired investor and do benefit from the dividend growth of LMT. Please factor into your overall comments. Thank you!

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I'm trying to clean up my US Portfolio so that I'm at 20-25 equities total. Please advise which 20-25 companies you would keep for a 5-10+ hold with balance/diversification but also some growth in mind.

Q: Hello Folks:
Recently we purchased a position ($210) in BA feeling it had good upside....now $165.00
Our other option at the time was GE
Did we make the wrong decision?
How do you consider upside of each of these 2 companies; would you feel we should take a BA loss to invest in GE.
In the past we have been long term investors of each of these two companies.
Perhaps neither has much up-side.
Thank you so much
brian

Q: Thoughts on Boeing given recent developments? Are you buyers at these prices?
Q: I have done well with boeing in a short period and while double checking it one of the rating services called it a five . In the same report it called textron a ten , they are both US so not your mandate but if you have any opinion on possibly switching from ba to txt I would appreciate it.
Q: Can I get your opinion of Boeing? It's been outperforming the market and peers over the last year or so and wonder if this a buy on any weakness...Thanks!
Q: Good morning,
Is today's announcement and subsequent price drop a buying opportunity ?
Thank you

Q: Britain's drone “super highway & other country's may follow, Canada will be last as usual.
As drones become more ubiquitous which manufacturer[s] do you think will lead the way?
What are the best pick & shovel company's to bet on in the drone gold rush?
Thank you.

Q: I have purchased the above US stocks in the last 6 months. AMZN is down 15%, CRWD is down 27% and LNTH is down 25%. The rest are in the green. AMZN position size is twice as large as CRWD and LNTH. I have $10,000 more to deploy. Would you do a 33% split on the 3 or what are your thoughts on this?
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Would Boeing not be a good long term buy ? So much future travel demand ?

Where would BA fit? Would you consider it a buy? Why or why not...
thanks, Mark
