Q: Since the healthcare sector in Canada is quite limited, I would like to explore the option of purchasing 100% US healthcare stocks to better represent this sector. I would greatly appreciate it if you could suggest six stocks that I should consider. Thank you in advance.

Q: What US Healthcare stock or ETF would you recommend to replace ABBV?

Q: I am considering adding to my current position in ABBV.

The stock is down close to 18% since the last earnings report. I'm sure the whole Humira thing had been priced in all along, but as of the last report, has the company outlook really changed that much to justify the size of this pullback? Are you comfortable with adding at this point, or should one have patience? I think the debt continues to be reduced quarter by quarter, which should help.

Q: Hi team,

I recently trimmed my position in NVDA and I would like to add the proceeds to my dividend income.

I currently owe BAC, BX, DFS, DUK, HAS, GLW, KMI, NVT, PAC, SWKS, VZ, WMB AND ABBV for dividend and some growth. I would like to add one or more US company to this list.

Any suggestions to add to this list? And, what company would you replace in this list if you have any concerns?

Oh, I'm not a big fan of tobacco companies.

Thank you for the great service and I really appreciate your insights.

Stephan

Q: As I'm sure you're aware, this is a name that has been drifting steadily lower since it ranked on its disappointing latest earnings release. Do you think it remains a premier us drug manufacturer worth holding or would you recommend redeploying the capital into another name?

Q: In the US healthcare space, I am looking for a value priced name with meaningful upside total return potential (3 to 5 years) ideally with some current yield. Am thinking ABBV but not sure if I should be looking at pure play pharmaceutical, equipment mfg or..? CVS already owned
Thoughts please on above or others, and thanks

Q: Is inflation finally under control?
Will we have a recession? How deep could it be?
Are our banks safe?
Are we losing control of our country to others that seem to play by different rules? We just kicked a Chinese diplomat out of Canada for threatening the family of a member of the Canadian parliament. How will China retaliate?
Russia is still at war against Ukraine. How is that impacting the world economy?
Climate change is threatening economies in counless ways. Almost all negative.

So here's my question. In your opinion, what Canadian and global companies offer a service so necessary or a product that is in such high demand that they will persevere in these troubled times and make profits for their investors?

Q: I have some cash to deploy in various accounts. What do you suggest for income (divvy) in a cash account? to be held 3-5 years?
For capital gains to be held 2-3 years?
longterm (10-20 years) in a tax sheltered account?
Looking mostly for Canadian stocks but also a couple of US ones (but not for income)
Please take as many credits as fair. TIA

Q: I currently own ABBV. I am aware of the off-patent cliff for Humira. Earnings are expected to drop when they are announced at the end of this month. I'm not so sure their other two drugs - Rinvoq and Skyrizi - will be capable of picking up the slack. I had read a recent article, and it gave me the impression that Humira and its new biosimilar competitors have some active ingredient(s) that allows them to be used for patients using Rinvoq and Skyrizi (?) In other words, I'm wondering if the upside of Rinvoq and Skyrizi is limited. I think you like ABBV, but is there any concern longterm? The market doesn't appear to be pricing in the risks.

I've pared back some of my ABBV shares, and am considering selling the rest. Alternatively, how robust is Amgen's pipeline in comparison ? LLY looks historically expensive, and I already own JNJ.

Q: Thanks to strong performance largely from CSU and KXS, I am both overweight in Tech and also have outsized positions in both - CSU along with the spin offs is ~13% of total now.

While I like to let the winners run this position feels too oversized and would appreciate considerations around taking some earnings off here . Since I am also underweight in Industrials, Utilities, and Healthcare what would be good long term options here (I'm 41) to transition into?
