Q: Thanks for the recent report on DIR.UN.

What is the current FFO payout ratio, and is it sustainable in a prolonged stagflationary environment should it occur ?

I was thinking of pairing this REIT with something in the Self Storage sector such as LSI. Would this be a good plan, or is there a better REIT pairing ?

In general, I thought REITs overall would be performing better in this current bout of inflation. Is it all about interest rates?

Q: Looking for a decent investment in this inflation environment. This REIT hit my radar. I think you at 5i approve of it. My concern is the very high PE (approx. 30) and P/Cash Flow. Not sure what the forward PE is, but I'm hearing that forward earning estimates in general will sooner or later be ratcheted down anyway as higher rates start negatively affecting the economy.

Is there a better metric putting a valuation on a REIT like LSI?

Q: Hi,

Do you agree that many REITS and utility companies are historically way overvalued considering their lack of growth?
If I was to invest in REITS and utility companies for the next few years, could u pick 2 REITS you like for US and 2 for CDN exposure?
Could you also pick two utility companies you like for US and 2 for CDN exposure?
