Q: I would like your opinion on these tech stocks for my tfsa. tech stocks were suggested by you in my last question - "For some growth, one could add tech names (US or Canadian), if applicable. We note that less than five years is still considered relatively short-term, so we would keep things on the lower risk profile in general."
if u could rank them, or suggest better ones to research that would be great.

Q: Hi there,

I inherited all 5 of these positions in my US portfolio and looking to reduce to 3. i am leaning to NVDA, AVGO and QCOM but I know very little about MCHP. Q: I am finally out of my loss on this position... Do you feel that QComm will go to 80 and onward .. ? I don’t know enough about the stock’s potential but the last few days have been very encouraging. After holding for years I don’t want to sell if the stock is on a new trajectory or has become a tech leader ... would you Buy Sell or Hold ? Thanks

Q: Could I please get 5iResearch’s thoughts on QCOM’s offer to shareholders to purchase their shares at a price ranging between $67.50 & $60. The downside of the offer is that the US government will treat the payment as a dividend payment, subject to a 30% withholding tax. To get the withholding tax back there will be forms to file with the US government once the sale is completed. Presently my shares are in a non-registered account, have a 4% gain & pay a 3.5% annual dividend. Would you recommend just selling the shares now on the open market or holding the shares for future growth. They account for 23% of my US info tech sector & 3% of my total US portfolio. Thanks … Cal

Q: I am holding 100 shares of Qcom and have been in the red for years... fortunately it pays a decent dividend... Do you feel that this stock will improve Following the upcoming Dutch Auction ? You have suggested this stock several times to your readers... You recommended holding out for a better price when there was an interested buyer...After several disappointments, do you feel the buyback is a good thing at this point ? ...or it just creating an event to raise its stock price ?

Q: Good Afternoon,
I don't follow the US market that closely, I'm looking for a handful of safer blue chip dividend payers ? Such as AT&T , perhaps you can list a few other names in various sectors you feel are well managed companies with good yield.
Thank-you
