Q: We are looking to adds some US positions to our TFSA. We currently have AMD, DAL, DOCU, BRK-B, and ROKU. Could you suggest 5 growth names for long term holds that you would feel comfortable entering new positions in today? And would you add to ROKU at present?

Q: Do you endorse a tax-loss sale for these three stocks, DXCM, REAL, VHI with the intention to buy back after 30 days? Are there any that you wouldn't buy back and instead use the proceeds on another high growth name such as NVDA, U, GOOS, PINS, MGNI? Sector weighting is not a concern and risk tolerance is high. Q: I hold the above 7 stocks in my RRIF. I have to sell part of one of them soon.
Ignoring sector balance; I am concerned with maximizing long term growth whether it be capital gains, dividends or interest. So I would like to sell the one with the poorest prospects for gains over the next 2-3 years.
I should also note that my largest holding,NVDA, is over 7% of my entire investment holdings. This is a level where I would normally start to trim a bit but it has been on such a tear that I have been reluctant to trim it. And I note that you are still keen on it as a growth stock.
So I am comfortable to leave it alone if you agree.
Which would you suggest be sold?

Q: Hello team, Shortly I will have $100K CDN and $100K U,S, to deploy for a long term hold ( 10+ years).
Could you recommend a few high quality, value & growth stocks? And what % would you buy now? I am not trying to time the market, but are you anticipating a correction during tax loss? Also, how many stocks (CDN & U.S) would you suggest?

Q: Hi Peter and Team
Your advice on options, specifically covered calls is very much appreciated. Some time ago you had advised on opportunities in the US market for selling covered calls. As I believe that with the US election done that there may be some return to normal, is this a good time to again consider selling calls and could you advise 3 Canadian and 3 US shares that might offer good premiums ?

Q: My son who is 42 is opening a TFSA. He is getting a late start at investing as he has been emloyed overseas for most of his working life. He has asked me to help him. Q: Hi. My daughter is looking to add a US tech stock to a portfolio that follows your balanced portfolio with some added US stocks and International ETFs. She currently owns 4 tech stocks; CSU, LSPD, KXS and NVDA. She is 21 yo and looking for long term growth. We are wondering if U is a better addition than TEAM (I am already following TEAM as I own it, but would consider selling it for a better company as I like to limit myself to following about 35 stocks). Any better suggestions? TTD? We both already own VEEV (under healthcare).

Q: If you just received $200K extra cash and would like to invest it in CND and US stocks in a non-registered account for maximum returns in 3-5 years, which CND and US stocks would you choose? For this, higher risk would be acceptable. Please prioritize 4-5 of each of the CDN and US stocks.

Would there be any changes, if it was going into a couple's TFSA's with sufficient contribution room?
