Q: I'm looking at the rebound in these tech and consumer discretionary stocks and wondering whether you have a preference for some of these companies over others. I sold my shares in Alphabet a few months back (which I now regret!) and have some U.S. cash sitting in my RRSP account. I have purchased SBUX and MSFT but want to add some U.S. holdings. I am near retirement, however have a DB pension plan so I can tolerate average to above average risk. I would appreciate your suggestions.

Q: I've got ~$20K coming into my RRSP. What 4-5 companies would 10 years from now me be really happy that current me invested in tomorrow? Not necessarily looking to find the next Shopify (although I wouldn't be upset if I did) but rather strong names that you have the most confidence in over the next 10 years.

Q: I kept waiting for the semi-conductor stocks to get cheaper and missed the big run. Has the sector not been cyclical historically? Do you think the sector is cooling off or entering a downturn, or is it time to step in? Qualcomm or Nvidia?

Q: The 2021 market hasn't been as fun the 2020 market, though I'm optimistic for a much improved remainder of 2021 - like 2020.

All things considered, if you were to pick up five stocks that have sold off (US/CDN) for a 5 year hold, what would they be?

Q: Hi Peter, in the semi space we have AMD, NVDA, QRVO, ON, and MKSI. Knowing that NVDA is your favorite would you exit or trim any of these ? In Tech what do you think happens if/when the big guys AAPL, GOOGL etc and then the smaller guys report more good earnings numbers ? Will this boost them or are we past that for now ? Q: I’m adding to a partially established portfolio (growth-oriented, long-term). I’m interested both in taking advantage of the recent tech downturn (although not too much, as I’m already somewhat tech-heavy) and in further diversifying. Two questions:
